Screw that, they still not fixed the memory leaks still.

There's no way in hell anyone should pre-purchase this. Every Blizzard launch for the last 15+ years has been a complete shitshow of bugs, server issues, and in the case of D3, D:I, and D2 remastered - a paid beta at best.

The Diablo team have repeatedly failed their fans, lost all earned trust, and proven that they are anti-consumer. These are red flags IN ADDTION TO all the usual reasons not to pre-order.

Of course I want D4 to be good, but Blizzard's track record has not justified a launch experience I'm looking forward too. D3 was almost completely killed off by the RMAH greed, and it was only brought back from the brink of cancellation because of fan outrage and damage to Blizzard's share price.

Yeah come back to get money of the west as they lost their deal in Asia.

And yet they never learn!
Blizzard have had plenty of experience doing this, but they constantly screw up their launches without exception.

Ignoring the memory leaks, the open beta has been a shit-show of unreasonable queue lengths, constant realm restarts, and the not-insignificant reports that it bricks GPUs.
I'm waiting to see some more official reports on that last point but D4 looks to be one to avoid until it's had a few patches and come down in price for sure.

I played the beta version and it would seem everything is OK with the game apart from few bugs. Logging in freeze and some items are stuck in air. Also sometimes there's a lag but that is obvious it can happen a lot of people playing. No other problems noticed to be fair and gameplay has been smooth.
Not sure if anyone experienced some problems with the game with NV cards? Monitored my card and everything is in order.

Is it me or the quests in the Beta are trully boring and flat, almost as worst as in Diablo Immoral?

D4 open beta was like D3 for me: the games are pretty much identical.
Blizzard spent millions in the development of the game, it took years to finish it and this is the end result?
The best thing to do was to listen to the players feedbacks and desires, to study the main competitors, and try to innovate D3, improving it significantly.
The open ground maps are too dispersive, there are too many paths to take and this forces the player to do a lot of back and forth. The dungeons instead seem to have all the same structure, like in D3. The villages are too big and the player is forced to go and search for the people who he needs to talk to for quests and trading. Wtf, when you have to search your storage is bad, guys: in the first village the box is inside a house far from the town portal. Who the hell designed the game?
One thing that I don't like is the movement of characters on screen, both the player and the enemies: everything feels a bit slower than what I see in POE and GD. A POE ice golemancer in D4 would pass through all the content in one hour top, with a fast pair of boots: D4 seems that slow to me.
One day I will buy it probably, but for 20 bucks, not 70. A game like D4 needs and offline mode and proper mod supports to appeal the masses, because it has a different structure and game mechanics compared to POE. Blizzard should have included an offline mode.
Performance was ok in 1080p. The game downloads 85GB if you choose to get 4K materials, 40GB without them.

Oh yes. This. Looking for your own stash is ridiculous.
Also, very hard to connect with other players too...
