Epomaker goes retro with the new RT100 wireless mechanical keyboard which uses a novel design language as a unique "TV screen" add-on display to make for a feature-rich keyboard that is among the most customizable units ever tested.

oh, i love the retro look of that one

triple connection, not a, too, obscene price given the feature set ... and a full key compact form factor, it's a w.i.n. for Epomaker by my book :)

I still have no idea why I'd need the screen but it's cool!
And it's my favourite form factor. Wonder if I can somehow buy one, haha.

I too like the retro look, and the features & price are reasonable too, although I'm not entirely certain how I would use the display, but that's ok, I know some folks will find a use for it sooner or later :)

However, it is a little small for my bear-sized paws, so I can't really consider buying one, but would suggest it to those who have normal sized hands/fingers....

Good size and looks but wireless keyboard = 40-80ms latency, which is not acceptable to all (i.e. Me).

This would go well with a Noctua themed build I guess, admittedly I'm really not a fan of the color/retro scheme but its still pretty cool in its own way.

Do people going for a retro look usually care about having RGB?
why not ... i would, tho, so at least i can set them for fixed white and type in the dark, well back in the days, i had to use a shadowed torchlight (incandescent bulb ... mind you )

you can have retro look and aRGB/LEDs better now also ... back then ... i only had red blue or UV fans/strip/cold light  and RGB keyboard with only Red Green Blue

in the end aRGB is a solution, not a problem, i only hate it as a marketing argument and if the price is too high to justify it (i.e.: anything Razer has made after the Copperhead and Diamondback )
if it has LED, i want them aRGB so i can accord all of them ,to the color i want anytime i want

@Sithaer nah, the Epomaker choosen color scheme is quite better than Noctua's one, well ... Noctua scheme is absolutely not my teacup (plus they are overpriced for what they offer, imho ) but i really like that keyboard scheme, dunno ... it's more noble beige and brown than Noctua brown

I'm with @GreiverBlade on this if they aren't over marketing/priced then I'm for it. I couldn't go back to a non backlit keyboard and having the ability to change the color is a big plus for me.

@VSG Great review! I keep telling myself, "You don't need a new keyboard!".. lol but I want one.. HAHA

You can always use it with the cable plugged in.

i know, right! ... but my DK440R is already awesome and it was quite cheap in promotion ...

well i have an ASUS Screen Duo somewhere .... not quite a small OLED TV ... but might be able to do something with it  and quell the itch to get a new KB
and it's a quite nice thing ... driver should still exist and i think there are some mods for it ... need to search a bit
