Lexar, a leading global brand of flash memory solutions, is proud to announce massive new capacities up to 2 TB for the new Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series as well as a performance enhancement for the 128-512 GB cards. Designed for professional videographers looking to capture cinema-quality video, the CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series boasts blazing-fast performance with speeds up to 1900 MB/s read and up to 1500 MB/s write. With minimum sustained write speeds of 1300 MB/s, the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series enables seamless recording from start to finish without dropping a frame, allowing professionals to get the most out of their cameras. It also features rugged durability for added protection against the elements, including extreme temperatures, shock, and vibration.

Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series also offers capacities of 1 TB and 2 TB, so professional videographers can handle demanding workloads without having to constantly change cards. In addition, the 1 TB-2 TB cards are RED Approved.

To maximize professional workflows and productivity, the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series offers its greatest performance gains when paired with the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Reader so professionals can spend more time shooting and less time waiting for transfers.
"We are proud to announce the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series in capacities up to 1 TB and 2 TB. With the growing demand of 4K, 8K, and 8K RAW video, these large capacity options are the perfect solution for professional creators and filmmakers who want to capture cinema-quality videos and speed up their workflow in post-production," said Joey Lopez, Director of Marketing.

Lexar will be showcasing the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series at NAB 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada, along with the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Card Diamond Series 512 GB, the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Reader, the CFexpress Type A Card GOLD Series 320 GB, the Lexar Professional CFexpress TYPE A/SD USB 3.2 Reader, the Lexar Professional 2000x SDXC UHS-II Card GOLD Series, and the Lexar SL200 Portable SSD 2 TB.

$730 for 2TB? Are they nuts?

No wonder these things just dont seem to catch on other then niche markets. A 4TB NVMe 4 SSD is only $600.

These are good upgrades for what were rather slow cards. Prices > 512GB are poor, but I would never buy a card bigger than 512GB for my camera.
