Chinese Rx 570 bios flashing to original

Hello، I ordered this RX 570 4gb 3 years ago by mistake and luckily now is the time to use it.
I don’t know if this a fake one but im sure that the seller did crypto mining on it and the bios isnt the original one.
I checked with gpu-z it doesn’t say fake or anything.
Someone can help me with flashing the bios to the original (I cant find the original bios at the bios collection)
And should I have another gpu for the flashing process because I have ryzen 5 3600.

Yup, she's a mined card. Can you take the heatsink off and snap a picture of the GPU core and the VRAM chips? Try and get them as stable as you can, we need to read some codes.

A second GPU is not 100% necessary, but is good to have for a backup.

@Imperator can you identify that GPU code? I think it's Polaris 10 PRO (RX470) but I am not sure.

Yes, it could be mounted on RX470 but also on RX570 PCBs.
There are some models that have this chip and i can give as an example the ASUS RX570 ROG Gaming OC 8GB.
It is Polaris 10 PRO with 2048 shaders.
I noticed also a lot of Chinese PCB's that use this chip for RX580 with 2048SP !!!
So yeah...we have some ...

The need for a secondary video card is for the case when you brick it and you want to restore it.
Else it should be fine to work with it as the ONLY card in the system.
Please provide a clear picture with the GPU-z main screen.

So I tried atikmdag-patcher and I can now play games but some games show the vram memory as 0gb, should I download the drivers of rx 570 from amd site or there’s a specific version of drivers

you aren’t fixing the actual problem by using the patcher. Flashing it properly fixes all of these concerns.

I’m afraid of killing the gpu also because I don’t have secondary video card

In order to restore a card to a fully functional status, you must flash it with the right BIOS.
So, in case you don't have a secondary card, you can always go to a friend and ask him to help you by using his computer.
But i doubt that you will need that.

Maybe you need to try an older version like 3.15

I would try only 2.93 as i suggested to most of the people on this forum who flashed RX4xx and RX5xx cards.

Literally just bought it for my Hackintosh build, displays fine but no graphics acceleration, runs fine in Windows, everything works as it should eg: Heaven Benchy no worries. Tried to also flash using the newest util from AMD. ; got the same 0xFFFFFF FAIL UNKNOWN, couldnt even download a version of the bios on it via the tool. My board is a H510M-PRO so has onboard as well so happy to throw BIOS at it to see if it will help here?

Unfortunately its 8gb and my card is 4gb + its rx580 not 570
