The Streacom DA6 is a unique open air chassis that allows for flexible placement of all the major components thanks to a one-of-a-kind mounting bracket system. With tons of flexibility and none of the usual size restrictions of a classic ITX SFF case, the DA6 could be perfect for those who don't mind open air but want big cooling components for their build.

Nice. I like the concept and the design. Now, how to keep the dust and coffee off?

Not sure i like the design of the universal mounting brackets. In the built up model, they look bent as they travel toward what they are fixed to, rather than being the rigid fixing point that the peripherals should mount onto.

Interesting design. I was a little surprised that it wasn't priced more.

I really like this chasss and there's definitely modding potential.....I'm already thinking about replacing those chromed rods with borosilicate glass tunes with a thick wall, sanding them with 600 grit sandpaper to get the frosted look, using a MAPP torch to make the bends, and then installing two 4mm wide addressable LED strips back to back in each tube for 360° coverage. All in the tube would have to be about 2.6m (8.477') long so I'd probably use the lathe to friction weld two 48" lengths together and then start bending.....think I just found a summer project.

As cool as this design is, I feel like there's a venn-diagram here:

It's basically some pipe, a couple of plates, and the sort of crap people have lying around as spare parts anyway.

Great case idea. Great implementation.

I never understand people that mentioned dust for open air cases like these. A handheld rocket air blower cost 10 bucks on Amazon. Used 30 seconds per week.... Problem solved.

Definitely going to consider this case, although not a big fan of chrome so the blacked out version for sure. Thank you for the review.

Seems like a pretty niche appeal to me. There are a lot of much cheaper open-air/test bench style cases out there.

As far as the aesthetics go, the stainless steel tubing and the black panels remind me of my clothes dryer rack.

Biggest downside I can see with this case is if you want to mount a couple of extra HDD's and a CD / BD drive.

This looks amazing. It inspires me to build SFF again. Maybe my next build will be small again.

HARD PASS. This is nothing more than a "UWU" glorified test bench that is priced for Gerbils.

If this had a theme, hell even a "Hello Kitty" theme then it is worth the $140.00. As it stands now? HELL NO.

This case is gerbil food "Eye Candy". Nothing more. Nothing less.

Quite like it, but still would prefer a classical enclosure. However, some stunning builds should be possible if you put in some effort for cable routing and component selection.

This feels like the aluminum (2020) profile 'cases' I've seen but less modular.

I like it and would have bought it, if it just wasn't delayed so much. Now I'll live with Raw S1 instead

Dust cleanup for open air cases is much easier than one would think. I have the XTIA Proto-XL and dust cleanup is about 5 minutes of unplugging the cables, taking the computer outside, using a dust blower (or compressed air if you have that), and blowing all the dust outside. I'm not in the market for another open air case, but this definitely looks intriguing to me.

You can mount HD, so i think you can add a cd drive. I like this case.

I wonder how it stacks agains the xtia xproto L which is an older but somewhat cleaner looking open frame case.

Yeah, animals/kids can do real damage here: i have 6 dogs these don't hump desk and i have no cats. Dust is not a problem, da6 has a "roof"as top cover, and a mini usb airblow pen can do it easly.
