This is incorrect.

You can play the game for free up to level 60 (which is hundreds of potential hours of gameplay). Now until may 8th, that is moved to level 70 is free to play (and added permanently if you add Stormblood to your account before May 8th). You just have to download the free trial client (and not forget to add the Stormblood to your free trial account, as linked in post before this one)

edit: I just got done leveling my White Mage from level 60 to 63 tonight, took me a solid 7 hours or so. Was a blast. The fact all of you can enjoy this game for free to that high a level is honestly mindblowing. Stormblood isn't the best expansion, but the Main Story Quest (which is mainly what you should focus on) is pretty dang good overall.

honestly FFXIV doesn't get enough credit for how much content they give out for free. its a great game.

could get the Stormblood code for free but in Mog Station its not possible to add it to a free trial account
under Service Account Dashboard there only is the option to upgrade to full game for me

damn, really sorry to hear this. I didn't think they would have it set that way. a free trial account is still an account you have to make, so I just assumed it would let you add it.

no idea, but I also only play single player of games like this for the same reason. i am pretty sure it has a single player mode. it says on steam it has a single player mode, so I am guessing same is true on Epic Games Store.

I just started playing the free EGS version a few hours ago in the single player campaign and necks so far have been beardless.

Ask me what PC I'm playing it on. OK I'll tell you, a NUC with an i5-1135 80EU Xe iGPU, lol! ~50FPS at 900p lo/med.

Turn off VPN (if on) or try on a different browser with no privacy plugins (uBlock, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, etc.) installed. It's mostly the browser plugins messing things up.
