Hi!
I bought a ASRock B450M-HDV used witch I can't get to work. The owner said the card came from a prebuilt system.
Link: ASRock > B450M-HDV

BIOS chip sticker says "P4.10"
BIOS chip:
Winbond
25Q128JWSQ
2043

The problem:
The fans are running, but I get no display on my monitor.
Monitor says HDMI 1 is available when I turn on the PC but when I switch to that HDMI source I get no signal message.

Tried:
Different Monitor, HDMI, GPU, PSU, RAM and CPU (Ryzen 1600X and 2600) (confirmed components are working on another B450 motherboard).
Clear CMOS jumper and BIOS battery removal.
Added 4 pin speaker (no audible POST codes) (ASRock has a 7 pin speaker layout, maybe that is why)

Any suggestions?

You need a 4000 G series or 5000 G series CPU to use the video out on this motherboard.

Have you checked the pins on your CPU and in the slot to confirm everything is fine?

You can also use a G Series with a dedicated gpu.

It could be a dead board if another cpu doesn't work but connect a speaker/bipper to check for any error while the board is trying to start to see what error you might have.

This is a life without a debug leds or display even I am fearing this on my X670 because the new trend is everything that's useful needs to be at least 500 flicking dollars it's the wrong way everything is going.

Pins on the CPUs are in order.
On the motherboard AM4 do not use land grid array (LGA), so it is difficult to se if pins in the socket is in order.

I have this "4 pin" buzzer, but the motherboard has 7 pin speaker layout, so I don't know if the pins match? (Attached is pin layout for the motherboard)
No sound if I connect the 4 pin bracket on the upper 4 pin or the lower 3 pin.

I know and I am a old AM4 user myself, but it never hurt to reseat a cpu even a AMD one.

The red should be + and black - so I would connect the speaker like this
red to +5V
black to Speaker

the 2 in the middel are dummies as it says and not to be used, and I have not met a board that has the options for a speaker that didn't work with any of the old speakers I have laying around at home or at the office.

Hi go in BIOS and set your DDR Ram speed to 2400. I'm facing the same issue, after change it to 2400, it solved my no display issue.
