I don't know if everybody already knows about this but me, but i've been using Gigabytes motherboards for some time and i never seen this before. I update the bios lately because i was having some issues with the system freezing. And after that i started getting a prompt on windows start (every time) to install Gigabyte center something. I researched this and i had to fish some option on the bios to disable this.

This seems really weird to me they are using the bios to push their apps. What the hell.

There's been news pieces about this and Gigabyte is not the only one doing it by far. Google ASUS's "ArmoryCrate."

Lenovo was also doing this before it was cool.

Interesting. I've seen references to the APP CENTER download on Intel boards but I have never had this kind of thing on one of their AM4 boards.

Asus, of course has the Armoury Crate reminder enabled on every one of their boards.

i haven't bought a ASUS product in years, mostly for the crazy prices, i used to buy a lot of ASUS stuff. So that is after my time as a client of hers. As for Gigabyte i was surprised by this, dick move. All of their software is so bad, pushing this in the bios is absurd.

that rgb fusion app is a good example, its so insanely bad, you can't even minimise it :kookoo:
Its now integrated into GB Center. Works just fine. Before it was kinda trash as a standalone.
