Are we going to have ARM adn RISC processors in the database too?
We have had an explosion of competitve ARM processors, such as Apple M2, AWS Grawiton, Ampere Altra, AmpereOne, etc.
From RISC, we have SKUs from SiFive, Tenstorrent and others.

No plans for non-x86 CPUs at this time. It will just make things complicated for everyone, people on TPU interested in x86

I listed all Atom SKUs in a separate exchange, including this one.
Just came across it while adding devices to GPU-Z and wanted to put a note somewhere

Some of the Xeon E5 v3 CPUs have incorrect die size and transistor count. There are 3 types of Haswell -EP:

up to 8 cores / 20 MB L3 cache -> 356 mm^2 and 2600 million transistors
up to 12 cores / 30 MB L3 cache -> 492 mm^2 and 3840 million transistors
up to 18 cores / 45 MB L3 cache -> 662 mm^2 and 5690 million transistors

I see there is not much happening here in terms of fixing the mistakes in the database or adding the new CPUs.
So if interested, I offer some help with this project. I have quite a good knowledge about x86 CPUs, especially the older ones. And I also have extensive collection of processors - so I can give pictures of those I have... everything for free of course.

You can report incorrect data here. That is part of what this forum thread is for.

or adding the new CPUs.
That is flat out wrong. ALL known current gen CPU's have been added to the DB.

That might be welcomed.

Updates have only been slow for this past month because I've only been home for a few days at a time. I've spent most of this weekend getting through the backlog of new releases.
Ah, I see. Well, when you have more free time, I am looking forward for the fixes on the older CPUs. Just a few tips - Xeon E5-1620 / 1650 / 1660 all have unlocked multiplier. Also all of them have 40 pci-e lanes. In short - they are exactly the same as Core i7 3820/3930K/3960X. Speaking of i7-3820, this one currently has pci-e 2.0 in the database, which is incorrect.

Regarding the pictures, the easiest way would be to just take them from my website. http://hw-museum.cz/ They come in two sizes - 368 px for the longer side, or around 900px. Tle bigger ones have watermark which is not ideal I guess . So I can upload the originals without watermark somewhere if interested.

Speaking of i7-3820, this one currently has pci-e 2.0 in the database, which is incorrect.

It's funny you should say that, because when it was listed as 3.0 I was told it was incorrect, and linked directly to Intel Ark which says the i7-3820 is PCI-E 2.0. Before that it was listed as 2.0, and I received a report saying that it too was wrong. Verified testing was done to prove PCI-E 3.0 works on the 3930K and 3960X, but not on the 3820. So we go on the specification Intel lists for the 3820 in this case since nobody is happy no matter what is listed.

If it's going to be "wrong" it's going to at least match what Intel says on their own database.

Xeon E5-1620 / 1650 / 1660 all have unlocked multiplier.

Oh I know. I haven't gone back that far in rewriting those entries. I did Ivy Bridge somewhat recently and the 16xx v2s should be properly listed as being unlocked. Generally speaking if a listing has no photo it means I have not got around to fixing it yet, as it predates my involvement with the database. Some exceptions apply but I strive to have at least one photo, even a blurry one ripped off a YouTube video.

Oh, in that case I guess it will be the best if you keep the 3820 as it is. I know there are some quirks about pci-e 3.0 on SB-E, especially older steppings on the 6+ cores but I assumed the quad-core die never had problems like these as it was released later. I don't have 3820 at hand, so I can't test it. Perhaps it is artificial limit. I just bought Xeon E5-1620 recently so I will try that one to see whether it can run pci-e 3.0 or not (of course this doesn't solve the i7 3820 question).

The database is missing the i5 10505. It's kind of obscure as it's an OEM only part (and as far as I can tell no motherboards support it as it's not in the support lists for any of my ASRock stuff). I have one on hand if you need a picture for the database. And I'm going to attempt to build a machine with one in a few weeks using some old parts so I'll let you guys know if the mobo can see it.

Yeah best picture you can take of the front and back, with the text legible and clear. Preferably without a bunch of glare/flash. Usually taking photos outside during the day on a piece of paper will get you that nice full-illumination with decent contrast.

I think I've seen that CPU. It should work in any board that supports the 10500 as it is just a clock boosted version of same.

I have spent some time making a hap-hazard mess of a list of missing cpus from the database, its not by all means comprehensive and my patience have worn out trying to search every intel processor lol, here's what I cataloged so far, may or may not come back and catalog the rest.
All of these from wikipedia's lists of amd ryzen and intel processors.
