ASUS today announced that it has achieved significant recognition at the Computex 2023 Best Choice Awards. The company's commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional products has resulted in several accolades, including the esteemed Computex 2023 Best Choice Golden Award for the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED (UX8402) laptop. The ExpertBook B9 OLED business laptop, recipient of the Sustainable Tech Special Award, combines powerful performance with an incredibly lightweight and professional design. Launched as the world's lightest 14-inch OLED business laptop, it is also the first all-magnesium-lithium ASUS laptop to employ an eco-conscious manufacturing technology that reduces production materials by up to 29% and shortens manufacturing time by up to 75% to maximize energy efficiency.

ASUS also received multiple Category Awards for products including the ExpertBook B9 OLED laptop; the ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED (H7604), Studiobook 16 3D OLED (H7604JI) and Studiobook Pro 16 OLED (W7604) laptops; the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 router; the ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD monitor; the ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme motherboard; the ASUS HealthHub remote-care solution; and the ASUS PINBO robot. These accolades highlight our continuous pursuit of innovation, exceptional user experiences, and commitment to sustainability.

"Receiving these prestigious awards at Computex 2023 is a testament to our unwavering dedication to delivering groundbreaking technology and exceptional user experiences," said Rex Lee, ASUS Corporate Vice President and Head of the PC Business Unit. "We are honored to be recognized for our commitment to pushing boundaries on design, performance and sustainability and creating innovative products that inspire and empower our users."

Golden Award: Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED (UX8402)
Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED, an esteemed recipient of the Computex 2023 Best Choice Golden Award, sets a new standard in laptops, particularly with its breathtaking ASUS Lumina OLED display. Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED empowers users to unleash their full creative potential. The innovative combination of ASUS IceCool Plus technology and the AAS Ultra mechanism optimizes heat dissipation while providing a comfortable tilt for the next-generation ScreenPad Plus secondary touchscreen. This seamless integration enhances the immersive visual experience, allowing creators to be hyper productive.

Category Award and Sustainable Tech Special Award: ExpertBook B9 OLED (B9403)
The ExpertBook B9 OLED (B9403) business laptop, recipient of the Sustainable Tech Special Award, keeps sustainability in mind and combines outstanding performance with an incredibly lightweight and professional design. It is also the first all-magnesium-lithium ASUS laptop to employ an eco-conscious manufacturing technology that reduces production materials by up to 29% and shortens manufacturing time by up to 75% to maximize energy efficiency. The upshot is a more robust product achieved through the utilization of fewer resources and environmentally friendly materials, surpassing the ENERGY STAR energy efficiency standard and ultimately minimizing carbon emissions. Weighing only 990 g and boasting a slim profile of 15.78 mm, this portable laptop offers effortless mobility without compromising durability.

Benson Lin, ASUS Corporate Vice President and Head of the Commercial Business Unit said, "With the groundbreaking ExpertBook B9 OLED, ASUS has demonstrated its commitment to pushing the boundaries of power-efficient design and eco-conscious manufacturing in order to achieve our goals for sustainable technology, and enabling our customers to reduce their carbon footprint. We are deeply honored to accept this Special Award."

Category Award: ProArt Studiobook 16 / 16 3D OLED / Pro 16
The 16-inch series of ProArt Studiobook creator laptops includes ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED, ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED, and ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED — the world's first 3D OLED creator mobile workstation. Its glasses-free 3D OLED display makes creating 3D content faster and more intuitive, while the ASUS Spatial Vision technology provides glasses-free 3D OLED displays with built-in eye-tracking, delivering an unmatched 3D experience that incorporates breakthrough optical and real-time rendering technology, as well as exclusive software tools.

Category Award: ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD
The ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD is a 49-inch super-ultrawide (5120 x 1440) gaming monitor, featuring an 1800R QD-OLED panel with 144 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time for immersive gaming experiences. To ensure QD-OLED longevity and better performance, it includes a custom heatsink and graphene film — the thinnest and strongest nanomaterial in the world — behind the whole QD-OLED panel, for better heat dissipation to reduce the risk of burn-in and boost the peak brightness up to 1000 nits.

Category Award: ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme
The ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme motherboard, another Category Award recipient, sets the benchmark for gaming hardware, offering a superior gaming experience for passionate gamers and enthusiasts. With support for 13th Gen Intel processors and DDR5 memory, it unleashes unprecedented performance. This E-ATX motherboard boasts 24+1 power stages and features advanced connectivity options, such as Intel AX411 WiFi 6E with Double Connect Technology for optimized WiFi gaming. ASUS Q-Design simplifies PC building, and the inclusion of the ROG True Voltician provides in-depth power circuitry analysis.

Category Award: ASUS HealthHub
ASUS HealthHub receives a Category Award for revolutionizing remote care. This comprehensive solution revolutionizes remote care with its comprehensive multiple turnkey solution. With its ready-to-use functionality, implementation becomes swift, breaking down entry barriers for healthcare providers entering the realm of remote services with real-time measurement synchronization for accurate health data collection and application. The solution's simplicity lies in its seamless integration of hardware, software, cloud-based backend services, and video systems, ensuring immediate usability and rapid deployment, which caters to professional, enterprise, and home settings.

Category Award: ASUS PINBO
ASUS PINBO, the innovative robot designed to revolutionize STEAM and AI education, also received a Category Award. With its comprehensive electronic components, including the programmable main brain, five sensors (line tracking, sonar, buzzer, collision detection, and an LED light), and motors, along with over 80 modular building blocks, users can unleash their creativity. The exclusive RFID-programmable instruction cards and 24 gamified tasks allow for a computer-free introduction to robotics programming and the development of computational thinking. Once users have mastered the initial unplugged programming tasks, they can progress to PINBO Lab, a dedicated programming environment featuring drag-and-drop graphical blocks that eliminate the need to learn complex syntax.

Where are the ASUS with the promised ultrabooks with AMD ZEN 7040 4 Phoenix= LPDDR5 + RDNA 3 + USB 4.0 + HDMI 2.1 + AI Artificial intelligence with XDNA architecture developed by Xilinx and all at 4nm vs 10nm from Intel.
Many consoles have already come out with Zen 4 but now there are the 2.2lb ultrabooks. Where are they? What happens with TSMC when the 4nm Node is very refined and mature, what is the problem that we still do not see an ultrabook with Zen 4 7040 Phoenix, in many professional forums they comment that Intel is playing dirty.
RDNA 3 + FSR 3.0 is the technology with which Ultrabook does not need dedicated graphics, being able to play AAA Games, 3D rendering, video and more importantly with Artificial intelligence prepared for the future Windows 12 and the new Direct XII APIs focused on artificial intelligence AI.
The question where are the OEMs with AMD Zen 4 7040 Phoenix ultrabook ????

MTL-S is allegedly cancelled, and Raptor Lake refresh will take its place, so it's still "alive" :D

Best worst costumer support award.
Best worst warranty support award.
Best overpriced pieces of crap award.

My X570-E motherboard died suddenly 3 months ago shortly after updating a BIOS and I wasn't the only one with the same issue (error 15), contacted support and social media if they could help me and I'm still waiting for an answer. I will never buy any Asus products again.

Kind of a tone-deaf move to make a big deal about them from Asus.

The best choice awards seem rather insignificant with little press coverage about them and only companies covering that they won.

This is one of those times you really should not tout your own horn too much.
