I wish I had a badge that says "it's a good product, but the pricing is too high". Any ideas?
As people suggested, only give awards to outstanding products. You even gave a Highly Recommended award to the RTX 3050 - the £300-£320 GPU that "replaced" the £199 GTX 1660S by being only +3-9% faster at +50-60% the price... (and that's after 3 years, ie, just 1-3% annual performance gain). Giving such awards to anything and everything price inflated well beyond their claimed "1080p" tier just devalues the whole purpose of them. If a product would make a technically good budget tier GPU but is also obviously over-priced / "up-tiered" well outside that, then just leave the award section blank.

Where is 16GB?

(8 GB / 20 GB) x $700 = $280.

RX 7600 8GB's estimated $269 within the proportion of aggressive $700 RX 7900 XT 20GB. It looks like AMD partners are exploiting NVIDIA's VRAM vs price issues.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
The RTX 4060 is probably between the 3060 and 3060 Ti.
I suspect it'll be much closer to a 3060 than a 3060 Ti.

If the 4060 is actually faster than I expect, then it means the 3060 was more bandwidth-limited than I gave it credit for - because at least the 4060 has the same puny 128-bit bus as the 4060Ti, rather than a cut-down version like the 3060 in comparison to the 3060 Ti.

Looks like waiting for lower prices and next-gen GPUs has been a huge mistake on my part.

How much money paid Nvidia to leave a review like this? So far i ranked tpu very high in terms of trustworthy, but the RTX 4060 Ti for 400$ is one of the worst graphics launches of all time and i am buying graphics cards since Radeon 9700.
As far as I personally disliked the verdict in the review's conclusion, it is utter garbage to claim that TPU @W1zzard got bribed or paid for a positive outcome. This is just pure stupid trolling on your part.

The review award also was removed and a more in-depth conclusion with his points of views was added (not sure if this was so outlined before though, but you always have two acknowledge other opinions!).

So my verdict for the card stands, but also my thank you for the review and his opinions!

@W1zzard With the significant changes in performance due to new drivers, esp. ARC, could you please add /dates/ or /driver versions/ to your benchmark tables so that we can see and refer to your benchmarks knowledgeable that they are current and up to date. Otherwise, are we comparing latest nV drivers on the 4060Ti vs. old drivers on the older nV and AMD cards and not-so-old-but-very-out-of-date performance on the ARC?

Jensen himself said that the era of more performance for same price generation after generation is over. It worked since mid-90', but apparently that was a 30 year mistake!

So the current plan (in mid-high end - the one that can play maxed out games at 1080p after two years) is:

2020, RTX 3080 - $700
2022, RTX 4080 - $1200
2024, RTX 5080 - $2040
2026, RTX 6080 - $3468
2028, RTX 7080 - $5896
2030, RTX 8080 - $10022
2032, RTX 9080 - $17038
2034, RTX 1080 - $28965
Will 5080 at least have DisplayPort 2.1 ports at full speed, 28GB of GDDR7 VRAM and minimum 50% uplift in 4K raster?

If so, I could pay for it $1,200, unless AMD delivers more interesting successor to 7900XTX for lower price and better hardware.

Nvidia urgently needs sanity with pricing consumer GPU. Urgently...

You mean like in the "Test System" table on the "Test Setup" page?

This link? Thank you.

a) What about ARC drivers used
b) What about dates of drivers?
c) Up-to-date assurance of driver traffic light? (not more than e.g. 6 weeks, or 3 months old?) or TPU Custom Scene, Average FPS - Higher is better, Drivers 01.05.-22.05.2023
d) Why using beta drivers?

How about creating a new dynamic webpage on your site? The webpage of all webpages. The hottest linked webpage on the internets: A live page linked to your GPU Benchmark database, showing card, driver, benchmark, in a table. :respect:

What software are you using to create these? https://tpucdn.com/review/nvidia-ge...rs-edition/images/dying-light-2-1920-1080.png
Can you make it live-link to your database?
Nice! :pimp:

According to your logic 5080 is more expensive than 5090. so just buy a 90.

3090 1500 + 60% P/p
4090 1600 + 60% P/p
5090 1700 + 60% P/p

Come here, be my benchmark slave. Two weeks of fulltime non-stop benchmarking work every six weeks. The only alternative is to have 5 cards, 5 games, 2 resolutions, then I can retest every 6 weeks.

sarcasm aside, i also find it weird that cards use different drivers, nvidia cards different drivers, amd cards with different drivers and also the no mention of the arc drivers. One single driver version can mean a lot of difference in real measured fps.
Why not just use the latest version for all of them? i assume this is because you reuse old benchmarks?! but that is really not the best way to go around comparing gpu's in my opinion.

All cards use the latest drivers as of January, which is when I've retested everything, nothing was reused. Since January a few new cards have been released, which I used the only driver available at the time-- the press driver. I had no time to retest those card on new drivers yet, because more and more work kept coming in, every...single...day..

Arc drivers are not listed because I forgot to include them in the table

You should really hire someone to handle part of the reviewing workload as it's affecting the quality and perceived impartiality of the reviews. Or, at the very least, use up to date drivers for close competitors of the reviewed product.

I believe that a part of the problem is a lack of honesty from nVidia.

If this card is really a 4050, due to inflation and other reasons nVidia may need to charge say 370 for it today instead of 249, what 3050 used to cost 2 years ago.

Instead of clearly communicating and explaining the need to raise prices, they got a stupid idea to present the card as a higher class card that used to cost a similar amount of money in the past.

The biggest spit in face is that RTX 4060Ti is low end gpu like GTX 1050Ti with 128bit bus for 400€ wtf. Probably cheaper to made than original 60 class gpus. And yes at 4k RTX 3060Ti is faster in some areas! Becouse of 256bit bus.

Wow interesting. The 4060 ti does have pretty decent FG performance. Too bad it can't do FG in EVERY title. If it could then it'd be a clear victor for me against the 6700 xt actually and I could see this card not having such negative views.

But still looking on ebay, there's used 6800 xt's and 3080 for $400 so that IS still the best deal I'm seeing. Yet it's used so there is some realm of uncertainty to buying those. I would buy a used card for myself but not as a gift for someone else.

just fyi, i checked into it, and its not shipped and sold by amazon. its shipped and sold by a third part named richard something. there is a xfx 7900 xt right now for 700 dollars even by the same seller, but if you actually click on their store front, they have terrible reviews of items not being shipped out, 42% rating, which means cant be trusted. i only trust an item if its shipped and sold by amazon, or shipped and sold by best buy, walmart, etc. no third parties for me.
