The GPU is a typical 4090, but it is Acer making it which is a good direction for Acer as a company. What makes this unique is that, much like the Fury X from AMD, this has a built in radiator and pump structure so it is indeed watercooled. What is also shown briefly but not mentioned is the Acer RX (AMD) line of GPU's.

Here is the source. Some may be surprised, but it is a video from Gamers Nexus. I know, a video. How bloody horrible.

Anything I missed.

Anyone who is familiar with how well cooled RTX 4090 understands how experimental this kind of thing is.
There's no reason anyone would want to use such thing over many, many RTX 4090 models

I don't have the power to delete anything, however just posting a video with no topic or discussion isn't very interesting imo. Maybe you can be hired as another news poster to have TPU keep up on the videos side.

It’s also thinner and shorter than most 4090s, but obviously you knew that ;)

Yes, and a big part of it is the often none-discussed way in which NVIDIA has to review and allow models to reach the market. Some of it for the RTX 4090 include check-marking specific sizes and fan counts. It's a big part of why most RTX 4090 cards look alike. I really hoped they would allow for more compact air-cooled designs, and not make AIB choices look samey

In reality, I wish they would skip this whole standard and approval circus altogether

I think it's asetek who holds certain patents on watercooling in PC components. That's why you'll see some weird sketchy or engineered things popping up once in a while.

Only problem i see with this is, the temps might be a bit better, but not "fully" as you can adress a seperate radiator to have fresh air pulled through.

I like it for the fact that it's small and you can take it apart to replace paste and pads....

Interesting, these designs in the past either work really well or terribly. This is meant for their prebuilt on the diy market though.

Obviously it doesn't work. placing this on top of the case unobstructed by anything is very different than bolting it directly to the card with no airflow whatsoever

That explains why every GPU heatsink doesn’t work :p

The airflow is very limited and the card is getting blasted by 450 watts. Also fins are along the card and we know how well that works. Needs a different open end fin array type.
