If it's just for the looks, then an external m.2 enclosure or SATA to USB adapter is far more useful, imo.

Edit: I just wish Asus dropped the stupid text from their products. "Outlast the competition staying power" - what the heck? Is this some Google Translate level marketing for 5 year-olds?

Wait, isn't this just the same enclosure they've already had on the market but with a 1TB SSD preinstalled?

I do have their TUF SSD enclosure, popped a 2TB Crucial P3 drive in and it's been great, all in cost me about £150.

Yeah it seems so, there's a rubber gasket all the way around inside that is secured by 4 torx screw and, when built, feels solid as hell.

That's always the case, enclosure + your choice of SSD is generally always better (and cheaper) than buying the integrated solution with a random ssd from the crap pile

Did you know that "Military grade" is just a term companies use because it sounds like its a resistant to break device.
But in the military, military grade just means that its the bare minimum standard lol
