The quality of games has taken a downturn in recent years due to being rushed out full of bugs and performance issues and sometimes completely broken for the average gamer hardware so of course there is going to be more complaining. It's going to get worse due to the obvious reason.
If they fix them and support them and update them for a decade like Terraria or counter strike then that’s no sooo bad……..

It’s when a year later there is still issues and they move onto something else…..

oh ya.........new map....forgot how to play been so long

Really enjoying D4 so far I can't really recommend it to solo players though it is substantially more fun in a group of friends progression is also way faster in a group. Haven't been able to put as much time into it as I would have liked since launch due to life but still managed to get to 75 and finish all the renown rewards.
Not solo friendly? Sure groups are faster but I'm doing the whole Sorc ride solo. 53 now. T3 content is fine solo.

Firewall build was okay for leveling... but now... its absolutely crazy. I've never been playing a more tanky Sorc and the interaction within the build's perks is great (procs!). There is definitely more to D4 than there was to D3. Also the Paragon system is pure stat goodness. They've struck a really good middle ground there, up to 50 there is a substantial difference in the gameplay/build options compared to past it, going from simple-ish to pretty deep. @Sithaer I concede this point now :D

Additionally the way the world is integral to the levelling experience with all those Altars you have to find.. yep. Nice. As a result of that and the renown system there is a lot to do even past 50, and it will still just be world exploration and casual mob slaughter. The game is paced pretty nicely at that point. You really haven't played it proper until you've had some time in T3 imho, that's when all things go where they need to go; the game's pace picks up tremendously as does the difficulty, mob density, etc.

I was mostly talking about how the game basically penalizes solo players I've done lot's of nightmare dungeons up into the 80s it's a a much better experience both in terms of class synergies and leveling with friends.

Sorcerer is definitely the most solo do whatever you want class though of the 5 even though it's probably the 4th worst in late game stuff.

Also and this is obviously going to vary person to person but the story was stupid and the boses where pretty weak encounters I actually prefered D3 story and that's probably my least favorite diablo overall. Thankfully I don't play diablo for the story.

The story... don't get me started lol. Act VI was a long string of 'OH MY GOD ITS STILL NOT THE LILITH FIGHT, COME ON'... :D I literally wanted to speedrun the entirety of Acts 4-6, but they thought it was a great idea to get ever more unskippable dialogue in the quests as you proceed. ^*!)%&)!@%!

It's just not the same without Deckard Cain.

This game has a very good foundation and I'm a fan of Rod Ferguson so I'm hoping that it's improved substantially over time not just for group play but solo players as well. Hopefully we get very focused and good expansions.

Yeah there is a lot of references to D2 which I liked most of them.

Yes, I have. It reminded me a bit of the (glory) old days of bf1942/2042 online matches. The gun play is surprisingly advanced. It is chaotic though, oh and it has tactical destructibility
So yeah I recommend.

Very brief amount of time spent on new DLC map in COTW yielded (pun) this unexpected bit of humor.
Also good luck to anyone picking it up Thursday on EGS.

Not Sure, I am running an AMD 5800X my CPU is limited to 60W and i limited fps to 60. Can increase my fps cap up to +165 fps but it just uses extra power for nothing.
Post processing and some mods like Sol and Pure can increase CPU usage significantly

Best to see a few optimization videos on YT for Intel and Nvidia hardware.

Half my CPU cores do nothing when the game is running. So I don't it is optimized for MT CPUs.

Currently playing The Captain. It's a modern, pixel-art point and click game with great space battle gameplay. Has some tedious parts as all point-and-click's do, but overall very enjoyable and cozy game. There's a 50% discount on GOG right now.

Also playing Supreme Rule 2030 (playing demo but it will be released soon). The demo only has one scenario in which the year is 2028, Putin is gone and Russia is divided into ~8 regions. You get to choose one of those regions and attempt to reunite Russia. Tried playing as Eastern Siberia, made alliances with Japan and attempted to fight North Korea (who were busy fighting South korea, thought I could take some territories for myself) but China intervened and put me back to place. :D
