Activision Ending Service for Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera in September

As of September 21, 2023, Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera will shut down, as our teams focus on future Call of Duty content including the current Warzone free-to-play experience. We all have had incredible Warzone experiences across the Call of Duty franchise since its first launch, including those in Warzone Caldera. For those players who haven't jumped over to the current Warzone activities, expect a vast number of gameplay choices across three Battle Royale maps (including Season 04's new map Vondel), as well as Ranked Play, the DMZ Beta featuring five different Extraction Zones, BlackCell offerings, and more.

Players should prepare for even more Warzone content across consoles and PC, as well as a new era of Battle Royale on the go with the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, which includes a shared Battle Pass and cross-progression. The Call of Duty team and Studios look forward to sharing more details soon. Regarding purchased content in Warzone Caldera - from Modern Warfare (2019), Black Ops Cold War, or Vanguard - that will continue to be accessible in those specific games.




Please note that the Warzone Caldera shut down has no impact to current Warzone gameplay, inventory, or player progression in Al Mazrah or the other available maps, and we look forward to continuing with you in that new Warzone experience.

As Warzone moves ahead with exciting new experiences to come, Warzone Caldera will shut down on September 21, 2023. All Caldera gameplay, player progression, inventories and online services will expire on that date.

All I have to say is 'NickMercs' - if you have to ask who he is just google his name and there should be a reason there not to keep playing CoD.

Go play a really good game called 'Battlebit Remastered' instead - Its made by only three guys afaik and they are doing great work adding much loved features that publishers have long since removed from their competing titles and they would appreciate your support far more than any big AAA publisher or developer who at this stage are just too big to fail. Currently word on the street is they are trying to make a realistic mil-sim mode for the game. It sounds goofy given the graphics of the game but the base game is already so much more fun than whatever garbage the battlefield series turned out to be.

So all the purchased content is now gone right..........are those skins/weapons/etc usable in anything besides multiplayer on the original Modern Warfare or, what was it.....Vanguard...Cold War......those blueprints and such, none of it transfers over to MW2 correct...

Ahh. I thought 1.0 got rolled into 2.0 since they are both F2P. Never knew 1.0 was just left by itself while everyone moved onto the second one.

And people called EA the worst company...at least I can still play all of their games that are 10-20 years old with all of the game modes and buy them for pennies. Meanwhile the clowns at Activision are still selling 20 year old COD games for £20-£30 as a special "sale price"...

Whoever is this person is, the real reason not play COD is the game is bad, haven't enjoyed a COD since COD 2.
