After I watched some gameplay videos I was still not sure if I am going to like this game or not.....well now I am certain I LOVE THIS GAME.....reallly contagious gameplay and well balanced progressing lvl enjoying evey minute so far.......
Been putting in some hours getting second (free) COTW leveled up enough to be usable in MP.
To borrow a phrase, (white) fudge me sideway. Within a few days I've managed to find some rare stuff that evades people who play the game for a living. Nothing flashy, just located in that upper tier of near impossible to find. Impossible to grind for.
This is off topic, but one major turn off for me when it comes to modern Star Wars is how centered around those bloody Skywalkers it is. Everything has to have at least a nod to them, and it's so annoying because SW is replete with good story material but NO we HAVE to have a Skywalker, or failing that someone/thing from the Orig Trig. But that is the end result of endless amplified pop culture loops I guess. HEY REMEMBER THAT COOL CHARACTER IN STAR WARS! Yes? WELL HEEEEEE'SS BAAAACKKKK! Does it makes sense? NO

No no, I get it. Honestly, because I never read the (p)reviews I was kinda bummed out when I saw Vader. I thought the whole story happened after the latest SW movies. Obviously I wasn't paying all that much attention to the story but it would've been nice if they just moved on.

That's just because Lucasfilm is full of writers who can't write these days. Look at all the new characters that aren't familiar from the trilogies. Unfortunately, they are mostly bland and soulless, or sometimes even annoying (Rey). I don't even know the names of most of them because the story never made me care.

Rey's alright, and so is the new trilogy, largely (especially the middle one). It's everything though, even Mandalorian, which I quite liked until it got mixed up with the Orig Trig. I have many words to say here, I might get into it at a later date, but my problem basically starts with Whatever The Last Movie Was Called. Rey is* a good character.
Also writing is a HUGE problem everywhere. Notice how some new shows credit people as content creators instead of writers or producers or whatever? Yeah. It's all about the money, and experienced people are expensive.
Or at least she was until it was revealed that she was the granddaughter of Darth Palpatine, with his Star Forge. Having an unknown force user? Yes please. But her just being another one of the things connecting to the Orig Trig? URGH
I finished Horizon Zero Dawn's main storyline (and some of the sides) earlier this year but now I find myself wanting to finish all the side tasks, of which there are many. There are 3 different search and fetch quests that contain no story of their own that I'll likely ignore but the rest that have at least some story attached are fair game.

I respect your opinion, but I kindly disagree. In my opinion, the Disney trilogy isn't only the biggest disaster in the history of Star Wars, but also in the history of filmmaking (along with Amazon's Ring of Power).
The first one was "not great, not terrible", except for some of my major gripes (
How did that small creature get Luke Skywalker's lightsaber? Who is she anyway? Why can Rey use the Force with no training whatsoever? How can she fight Kylo Ren and win? How does Finn know how to use a lightsaber? Why is Kylo Ren an overgrown manchild? How am I supposed to like Rey if she's inherently perfect in everything she does with no struggle?
), but the second one took a massive dump on it, and then the third one took a massive dump on all the trilogy, all of Star Wars, and everything humanity has ever known about script writing. Things just randomly happen with no set up, no consequence and no meaning. The whole movie makes absolutely no sense! It was literally the most painful movie experience I've ever had. I could go into details why, but 1. I'd rather not off the thread too much, and 2. I'm still having nightmares just thinking about it. Honestly, I'd rather get stabbed in the gut than having to watch that bloody thing again.
Finished Sonic 2 !
Like to play the old game of my youth ... but i don't remember that was hard (or i had better skills maybe ?)
I've stop playing Dishonored : Death of the Outsider ...
It's strange because i really loved the 1st one, but i found something wrong with this one, i cannot tell exactly what ...
I've a got a feeling like i was more a puzzle game with situation to unlock than a stealth fps ...
I'll try Dishonored 2 later ...

yep, it's more like a sandbox for you to try several ways to, i guess it's true, solve puzzles. I honestly loved it but i understand it's different and not even Dishonered fans liked it much. Spend so many hours trying so many things, the freedom is incredible just like with Hitman, you can get to your goal in so many ways
As a rule I make it easier on newer players looking for a little help. And stay as far away from the numbnutted stupidity as possible. Somehow tonight I managed to combine the two in a semi-cooperative free for all that catered to everyone's strengths. Such a different experience from the sedate pace of solo play. Newer player seemed to be progressing rapidly as well. I'd say it was about the most fun I've had in this game. Which places absolutely no penalty or encumbrance on how many ATV end up in flames from being abused.
Been playing Battlebit Remaster since its early access release. I know it's been hyped to the moon recently but it's well deserved imho. Gunplay is spot on. But I love the map design the most.
And VoIP is legendary.
Well, last month I made a grave mistake of starting a playthrough of AC:Odyssey.... 130+ hours of my life lost, but at least I have a flaming horse and a unicorn to show for it.
And that's without DLC!
Overall impression - not bad but it takes awhile to get into it. They could've easily removed the first 50 hours of foreplay, along with a half of the filler quests/activities, cut all of the animus stuff, erased anything "assassin's" related, and called it simply an "Odyssey". Would've been a perfect standalone title. But with all of the above present - it's less of a game and more of a content wagon full of fluff. Too much. Wa-a-a-ay too much.
Just finished lost eidelons and iron harvest. Not sure what to play next. Downloaded Far Cry 6 to try something out of my comfort zone but meh. Fps used to be my favourite genre too, now they just bore me. Mostly play jrpgs but feel like I'm running out of options. Same with single player story based rts games. Aren't a whole lotta those around.
Hmmm maybe I should give ff13 another try. Its so close to the kinda game I like. Linear story based jrpg. But the characters are so cringy sometimes...

Absolutely give it a go! I love FF13 even though I admit that it's a hella linear game but still. Vanille is like an reincarnation of Selphie from FF8, just as cute and goofy
