Jonsbo Lanuches C6 Micro-ATX and N2 NAS Cases

Jonsbo, a Chinese case manufacturer known for unique case designs, has introduced the new Jonsbo C6 and N2 cases to its offerings. The C6 is a compact and versatile Micro-ATX case designed to appeal to many users, including gamers. It offers ample space for up to three 120 mm fans, ensuring efficient air cooling within the case. The front of the C6 can accommodate two 140 mm fans, further enhancing airflow. To promote optimal ventilation, the front, side panels, and lid of the C6 are made of air-permeable mesh. Regarding hardware compatibility, the C6 can house graphics cards with a maximum length of 255 mm and CPU coolers with a height of up to 75 mm. Additionally, it provides the flexibility to install an HDD or two SSDs in the front without a 120 mm fan. The Jonsbo C6 is available in black and white color options, catering to different aesthetic preferences.




On the other hand, Jonsbo also introduces the Jonsbo N2, targeting a different user group that values functionality and versatility. With its dimensions of 222.5 x 222.5 x 224 mm (W x H x D), the N2 is ideal as a compact computer for basic tasks, such as office programs, or as a foundation for building a custom NAS or cloud storage solution. The N2's aluminium cladding provides a sleek appearance and enables seamless integration into various room designs. Similar to the C6, the N2 is available in black and white color options. The N2 offers a space-saving design with a hard drive cage capable of accommodating up to five 3.5-inch HDDs. Additionally, it features a provision for attaching a 2.5-inch data carrier above the power supply, providing further storage options.

This case is not that new. Freshly imported One week.. The shipping costs were stopping me. Somehow i feel compelled to stick water cooling in it. Above and below probably 140mm rad 28mm +27mm fan. Could be organised better.

Yeah, this came out back in December. However availability is pretty bad right now, you have to order it from Aliexpress. I've been waiting until it is more available, the C6 has a handle version and it is by far the smallest matx case out there (it is practically the size of the motherboard).

Or just not put a 300W housefire cpu inside. This is not a performance case, it is for smaller setups as indicated by its size.

I have a big case but it would be interesting to see how small it can get. If all radiators are set to output it wouldn't matter how small it is. When you don't have radiators however all the heat is accumulated inside. precisely what I'm trying to avoid. Especially when The PSU sits on top the video card and in front of the CPU. But I use SFX-L anyway so it should have 2 cm more of airflow.

You can put a 4090 and a 13900K in a sub 15L case with zero issues if you know what you're doing.

The thing I hate about these modern tiny cases is the I/O always sucks. Like year, we got rid of the 5.25 and 3.5 bays, so now we'll give you ONE 3.0 port, and ONE type C. Hope everything you own fits in the back!

Like, look at desktops from dell/HP/ece. 2 3.0, 2 2.0, and if youre lucky a full SD slot on the front. Because maybe you have flash drives, USB HDDs, and USB disk readers you want to use at the same time.

One type C (as long as it's full bandwidth 20 GBs) and one USB 3.1 gen 2 port is great IO.

If you really care about more frontal IO get a hub so you can use it directly on your desk.

It's much more useful to have a clean front with minimal internal wiring, and all your permanent stuff plugged directly into the motherboard anyway.

One type C (as long as it's full bandwidth 20 GBs) and one USB 3.1 gen 2 port is great IO.

If you really care about more frontal IO get a hub so you can use it directly on your desk.

It's much more useful to have a clean front with minimal internal wiring,

A clean front so you can have a hub plugged in so you can have a squid of things plugged into the hub

Makes total sense

and all your permanent stuff plugged directly into the motherboard anyway.

The point is everything I listed ISNT permanent. The whole point of having no internal bays and USB instead is you dont need this stuff 24/7. If you have to have a mess of cable son your desk with everything wired to a hub because we couldnt be bothered to give some more I/O, that has totally missed the point.

Why is every case like this? why not include multiple ports for people who use their PCs? Or is this like the apple thing, where anyone who uses more then a mouse should be relegated to the dark pits of yesteryear?

You plug the hub into your rear and cable manage it, if you need SD card support or whatever. I can't think of many things that need regular connection/disconnection from modern desktop PCs besides camera storage.

Oh man, if only there was some way that hub could be integrated, say into the PC, so that it was all internal and you could jsut plug directly into the case.

But that's impossiburu today! We could NEVER have more then 1 port in a PC!

What's the problem.

I was pretty clear, perhaps you, say, want to move something from a USB drive to a HDD. So, what, do I now have to copy it twice, once to the main PC, then again to the HDD, just so the case doesnt have to have another USB port in it? It's not hard, nor inconvenient, to add another USB port to a PC. Basic office PCS from dell and HP are smaller then most ITX cases and have 4 (four)(quadro) USB ports on the front! Amazing! The must be using some kind of space magic!

If they can do it, why cant any ITX DIY cases provide such a config? Most mini ITX boards have the headers! They can find room to stuff full ATX PSUs into these cases but not another set of USB ports? Give me a break.

This is the kind of case I'm interested in; limited IO kinda sucks but they look well built and are tasteful, non-gamer unicorn vomit. How are the quality on these though? I'd like to think Jonsbo is kinda the spiritual successor to Lian Li era of good looking clean design and high quality anodized AL.
