In the AMD Software, under the Gaming -> Graphics tab, can you make sure Radeon Image Sharpening and Morphological Anti-Aliasing are turned off?

Also, what are your settings in the Gaming -> Display tab? Do you use any kind of image scaling?

Did you format windows after putting the new card? If not try DDU and install clean new drivers.

I didn't mean upscaling. I mean, in the AMD driver menu, there's a tab under Gaming -> Display where you can set resolution scaling on the desktop.

DDU isn't very good these days. When you switch GPU vendors, a Windows reinstall is recommended.

Did you just swap the cards without a driver uninstall/reinstall?

I had dead hangs of unknown nature today. Same generation GPU, 6700 XT. Never had any issue with it, didn't touch a thing for a while and suddenly had my PC going kaput in gaming and gaming only.

Reinstalled Windows, the problem is apparently gone. 3 hours no issue so far.

Your issue does also look like it's something wrong with software. vBIOS worst case.

Oh by the way, is ReBAR (SAM) enabled? Have you tried cranking the power limit to the maximum? Do the GPU clocks deviate from ~2350 MHz a lot? Do the VRAM clocks get below 1700 MHz way too often? What are the temperatures readings? Have you tried using a different display connector, i.e. swapping from HDMI to DP and vice versa?

Try these settings. Leave the rest untouched.

Do you have dynamic resolution turned on? (I don't remember if the game has it or not)

Has he cleaned his monitor? :D

Seriously thou. Can you please post some screenshots about the issue, and also, have you tried the card on another PC?
The description also reminds me of what NVidia is experiencing in modern games with 8GB cards where textures get blurred because of lack of VRam.

There is nothing you can do about it! it's a common thing for RX6000 series ... I tried everything but nothing seems to work unless they release a new driver for rx6000 series fixing anti aliasing ... just gather as many as you can from rx6000 series users and report the issue to AMD

I had the same problem but during the new update I chose to restore AMD factory settings and the textures were fixed.
