Great opportunity for people to give these games a try. I really liked the mini defense tower game IN Revelations. Brotherhood was cool too, I think I used an infinite money cheat in Brotherhood or Revelations forget which, and just had a blast with it

Next week Homeworld Deserts of Kharak is free on EGS, that is really funny, I literally downloaded it like two weeks ago and have been playing it here and there. Bought it on steam a long time ago, but just recently decided to give it a go.

It is a pretty cool game, very surprised to see it on the giveaway as it is a more niche title.

This game's got a very unfortunate name. I keep passing it on my library and just laugh at it...
"Kharak" literally translates to "your excrement." Can't read "Deserts of Kharak" and keep a straight face...

i bought it ... (well didn't pay much ... steam summer sale yaddah yaddah ... ) eh, brainfart ... 4 july is not 2 weeks ago (oh well ... heat dome on Switzerland, high temps at night equal to lack of sleep ... that must be it ... ) mostly did the tutorial, but i know i would like that one (next rainy day... that ... or running under the rain, though choice )

oh well, having it on EGS and STEAM is not a bad thing ... i like redundancy

oh, yeah ... but i don't mind at all ... i never had any problems until today (or DRM issues), all my nomad drive works flawlessly with STEAM or EGS when i take them and log elswhere than on the main computer
and hilariously out of my hundredth of game on EGS i only paid for Horizon : Zero Dawn (with a heavy discount and coupons )

i have some games on GoG and i usually keep their installer on my backup drive although re downloading the whole patch and co afterward is a pain, specially with CP2077 luckily my nomad drives also include GoG library (and they are all NVMe USB-C 3.2 drives )

It is a combination of Homeworld and Ashes of the Singularity. The Campaign is paced well and the Game will take about 2 weekends to complete. If you are looking for an RTS fix that is different it's ok but there are plenty of newer, better, deeper RTS to play.

I just finished pre loading Armoured Core 6. I really don't know how much work I am getting tomorrow but most of it will probably have to wait until Monday. The good thing though is Steam is telling me that I can play it in about 2 hours.

I used to subscribe to Prime Video last year but then cancelled it due to local taxes. Then, purely by chance, I saw that I could subscribe through my local ISP for about a dollar per month, which gives me full membership of Prime Video and Prime Gaming because the login details don't change.
Long story short, last year I claimed numerous games on Prime to keep forever, including GRID Legends, Mass Effect and a couple of Mordor games. I then forgot about claiming and have just seen that Quake 4 is free to claim along with Star Wars Force Unleashed and several others on Prime.
If you're a Prime member it's definitely worth keeping an eye open. Grid Legends was a lovely surprise!
