@W1zzard Could you confirm, does the 7800 XT TUF have the same maximum power limit as the 7800 XT Nitro+? What about all the other cards? From looking at your review, it appears that at +15% they all have the same max power limit but could you 100% confirm that please?

So is the card length you measured correct? Because the card lenght on the asus site says 319mm. Please confirm weather i will be able to fit it into my case that will at max accommodate a 315mm card

It's clearly a typo. The card is 32 cm. You'll need a saw or a different GPU.

The slider range is +15% on all the cards, but the bade power limit differs. I have measured the power values for the cooler comparison tests, check the x axis „flags“ on both reviews

No way to know until someone tests it or uploads the BIOS.

Please note that the values in my review are actual measurements with test equipment, they are not what AMD's Board Power software sensor shows

Do I understand the cooler performance graph correctly as it seems the TUF cards cooler performs better than Nitros? Altought at the same time in the temperature and noise comparison chart it seems that TUF card in quiet BIOS performs worse in noise than Nitro in normal BIOS but at the same time it has also worse temperatures?

When comparing just the coolers the TUF is slightly better than Nitro

When it comes to temps/noise you also have to consider the power consumption of the card = heat output

It seems the secondary BIOS on both TUF and Sapphire runs the card at slightly lower clock and voltage -> lower heat output

And yes, this affects performance, too. Overall the differences are minimal though, once you're below 28 dBA or so, there's no way you'll be able to subjectively tell a difference between, say 28 and 23, they are all just incredibly quiet (in quiet room with no other noise sources)

Hello, first of all, thank you for the reviews. I'm building a new silent PC and I've noticed this ASUS graphics card and the Hellhound. Is there a noticeable noise difference between the 25dBA of the Hellhound and the 28.4 dBA of this ASUS? I really like the usual ASUS brand and am considering it, but if there is a big difference, I would think about the Helllhound.

Another thing, have you noticed any type of coilwhine? My tower is on the ground, not near the ears.

This means you pay too much attention, unless you got some outstanding ability to hear.

Doesn't depend on a model. Happens in one XXX RX 7777 XTX FLOW EXTREME, doesn't happen in another.

Is there a noticeable noise difference between the 25dBA of the Hellhound and the 28.4 dBA of this ASUS?

If you put them both in two adjacent rooms with no other noise sources and you move from one room to the other, and you put your ear right next to both cards on an open bench, then yes it's noticeable.

If you do the same with one quiet room, but have to power down the system to install the other card, you will not remember any subjective difference

If you install it in a PC, plus other noise sources, no way you'd be able to tell the difference.
