The tech assumes you have your phone on you, like in your pocket I guess. It's a worse-than-useless features if your phone is not on your person, and at least your pocket is in the same vertical plane as your ears most of the time, which is why it kind of works, provided you sit or stand still.Why would you want to blast the music in the direction of the phone? Isn't the point of the Bluetooth speaker technology that you can put your phone down and still listen to music? At least I don't have my phone in my hands while I'm cooking.
