Schenker Technologies GmbH's e-commerce platform, bestware.com, is now offering Intel's NUC X15 Laptop Kit with Core i7-12700H and dedicated Arc A730M graphics card, in addition to the laptops of the two own brands XMG and SCHENKER. The base configuration of the 2 kg light and well-equipped 15.6-inch notebook is available at a reduced price of €899 (~$963) for a limited time at launch.
Intel NUC X15 Arc combines Core i7-12700H with Arc A730M
Measuring 358.26 x 235 x 22.2 mm and weighing just 2 kg, the 15.6-inch Intel NUC X15 Arc positions itself among the light and slim laptops in its performance class. The display lid and top shell of the black chassis are aluminium; only the bottom shell and the display frame use plastic. Despite its compactness, the NUC 15 Arc offers high performance. Intel pairs a Core i7-12700H with 14 cores (6 performance, 8 efficiency cores) and 20 threads with a dedicated graphics card from its own Arc portfolio: The Arc A730M offers a generous 12 GB of GDDR6 memory and operates at a TGP of 75 watts.
RAM and SSDs are freely configurable on bestware.com, as the laptop features plugged-in instead of soldered components: Up to 64 GB DDR5-4800 RAM or two M.2 SSDs, with the primary drive connected via PCI Express 4.0, all options are available to configure the Intel NUC X15 Arc as desired.
144 Hz fast Full HD IPS panel and good connectivity
The 15.6-inch matte Full HD display (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) features a refresh rate of 144 Hz, 90% sRGB colour space coverage and a brightness of 300 nits. Three USB-A ports (3.2 Gen 1), a headset-compatible headphone output, HDMI 2.0, and a Thunderbolt 4 port with an integrated DisplayPort stream, provide good connectivity. Therefore, in addition to the internal display, up to two additional external monitors can be connected natively - the image output is always through the efficient iGPU, however demanding processing is still executed via the faster dGPU. The network connection is wireless via Wi-Fi 6 or wired via a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port.
Besides a 62 Wh battery with selectable charging profiles to maximize battery longevity, the Intel NUC X15 Arc features a Windows Hello-compatible webcam, a Microsoft Precision-compliant glass touchpad and a keyboard with customizable single-zone RGB lighting.
Pricing and availability
The base configuration of the Intel NUC X15 Arc, which can be freely configured at bestware.com and is available with immediate effect, includes Intel's Core i7-12700H, an Intel Arc A730M, 16 (2×8) GB DDR5-4800-RAM, a 500 GB Samsung 980 SSD and a Full HD IPS display with 144 Hz. The introductory discounted starting price is €899 including 19% VAT until September 30th. From October 1st, the standard price of €999 (~$1070) will come into effect.
