How does the microphone fare with sound coming from the headphones? Does it pick up a lot?

I've always been a fan of open-back headphones, but using them with a microphone that's in close proximity is not a great experience.

Hmmmm interesting. I've never had an issue, but I don't listen to any crazy loud volume.

Speaking from memory, which isn't all that great when it comes to audio... I remember the Game One sounding wider, but everything else is on the Virtuoso Pro's side, in terms of audio quality. It's also much more comfortable. The Game Ones have a significantly better microphone though.

Are these le&ri 3,5mm connectors?

Yes.

Didn't have any issues at all with the microphone picking up the audio from the headphones. That goes both for the supplied mic and an external condenser microphone I had mounted on a table arm.

Yeah when I was using a condenser mic 50 cm away, it didn't pick up my headphones. It picked up everything else, though (room fan, neighbors, outside noises).

I switched to a dynamic mic that sits 20 cm away. It doesn't pick up any of the noises I mentioned, but it does pick up quite a bit from my headphones. That's why I switched to the Sony MDR headphones. They sound great, but the sound stage is definitely smaller.

Audio is so difficult.
