can´t load uefi / Secure Boot; no cop - Sapphire Pulse RX580 8GB

Hi. as mentioned above I don´t get uefi working on my setup. If i switch to uefi I get an error saying, that no cop drivers are installed. I prepared the following infos in advance and hope you can help me out. Kind regards and thank you very much in advance.

You need to flash a different bios since it seems this bios is not orginal due the strange clocks.
Did you bought this card second-hand?

This is likely the correct bios:

Sapphire RX 580 VBIOS

8 GB GDDR5, 1366 MHz GPU, 2000 MHz Memory

For flashing use version 2.93 of AMDVBFlash. Newer version wil give you issue or wont even work.

For RX 500 Series (Polaris) and Older:

Get amdvbflash 2.93

Then look for Version 4.68, underneath 4.68 you will see a link to show older version, click that and you should see version 2.93

Follow these steps carefully:

1. Open your "C:" drive in Windows, create a new folder, call it atiflash.

2. Extract the contents of atiflash_293.zip to the "C:\atiflash" folder

3. Find the bios file you downloaded and rename the bios file to 5 digits with .rom on end Example RX 580, change file to rx580.rom (r****.rom)

4. Move r****.rom to the "C:\atiflash" folder

5. Open the start menu, type cmd, when cmd.exe appears right click it and hit "Run as administrator"

6. At the command prompt type in cd\ and press enter until only C:\> is on the screen.

7. Type in cd/atiflash and press enter, you should see C:\atiflash>

8. Type in amdvbflash.exe -i to identify the gpu you want to flash with a 0, 1, or 2)

9. At the C:\atiflash> prompt type in
amdvbflash.exe -unlockrom 0
(there is a space between the e and -unlockrom and 0)(0 is the number zero)
press enter and you will be prompted that the "ROM Unlocked" (or 1, 2)

10. At the C:\atiflash> prompt type in
amdvbflash.exe -f -p 0 r****.rom
(there is a space between the .exe and -f, and a space between -f and -p and 0).
(Or 1, 2)

Press Enter

Follow directions on screen and if flash is successful exit the command prompt and restart, windows should show up on screen

Just to be sure... Did i get everything right here? as I didn´t exactly see a point called "Subsystem ID" and also didn´t see anything like "Example Sapphire RX 580 Pulse: 1002 67DF 1DA2 E353/366, 1366/2000 MHz, 8192/4096 MB, Micron, Samsung, Hynix, Eplida, Infineon, Qimonda."

Please wait with flashing the bios which I provided earlier. There is a high chance your card has Samsung K4G80325FC on it instead of the usual Samsung K4G80325FB memory. Can you create a screenshot of the advance tab where memory timings are shown?

Does your card have a bios switch?

Just saw there are also some differences. Is it safe to use that file nevertheless? I also made a backup just in case and saved it in the atiflash-folder. Or should it be saved somewhere else?

The red squares are incorrect. You are comparing the actual gpu clock with an overclock limit.

This bios should be fine:

Sapphire RX 580 VBIOS

8 GB GDDR5, 1366 MHz GPU, 2000 MHz Memory

Just flash it since the part number of the memory is correct.

I just checked my hardware for starfield. The result: my gpu driver is outdated for 21 months. If I update the driver now, will the bios be changed as well?

If everything keeps running I would like to get the latest adrenalin Software

vbios should not automatically change when you are installing a newer driver. You can install the latest driver or the one before (23.9.1).
