RTX 3080ti AMP Holo Power limit

You could try an under-volt to keep it off the power limit. 1830MHz at 850mV is a good target to try and that would keep you below 350W. But yeah something more seems wrong if that model performs as expected for reviews but not yours, RMA sounds like a good idea before flashing anything
I currently have it undervolted at .862 1800mhz, even this power throttles at 4k and 100% GPU, I am living with DLSS on that.

Yea as you all suggested I will RMA without trying any bios flash.

Yes, this is exactly my problem, I cant for the life of me get anywhere near 1800, let alone 1900!! , it power throttles so much, I think its to do with the ZOTAC bios in itself, that's why I thought of flashing Asus bios but people say it doesn't work. I don't want to take the risk as I don't have integrated graphics or another graphics card to rollback vbios if something goes wrong

Also techpowerup review of this same exact card could pull 350w, I am so confused, I am going to try RMA , hope I don't get the same problem again!

@GerKNG or @Xex360 , have you tried ASUS TUF BIOS ? , maybe one of the DP wont work with this vbios though.
Tried to use the new nvflash, totally forgot how to do this, I guess I'll wait for the GUI solution it's much easier.

Doesn't the previous nvflash already support flashing different vendor bios? , i thought only flashing a custom bios or 3080 bios onto 3080ti card was not possible.

Hello, my gpu is also 3080ti amp holo and i cross flashed it with NVIDIA FE bios because of the annoying low power limit...
I can confirm everything works fine and max power limit is now 400w although FE pcie power connector is12pin physically on the board it's like 2x8pin

The only annoying if i can say so is the asynchronous fan speed because of the one fe smaller fan that runs at higher speed, in my case gpu is full cover block water-aio cooled so i don't care.
Although I don't think that a small fan speed percentage difference is a deal braker...
Just be aware if you cross flash on a stock cooler card to check fan speed and thermals because i have no clue how it will behave.

How did you flash the FE driver?
I haven't done this for ages I don't want to ruin my card and spend ages trying to fix it. o_O

Just an update here, I flashed a 380w bios, works fine but somehow I feel the frequency is lower now. Need to take more tests to know.

Stock frequency may be lower because of thermals and fe lower bios boost clock, 1710MHz for amp holo and 1665MHz for FE
Here is mine if you want to compare
PR @ stock clocks and max power limit

I didn't use FE bios rather an MSI one. On the other hand, the temperatures seem lower now. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to spend checking and benchmarking.

I finally made a comparison between the 2 bioses, the card runs higher frequencies when using the 350w limited bios, with the 380w it goes higher in wattage but the frequency is lower and performance as well, despite the 380w having higher frequency.

Yes this was the case even with 3080ti amp holo OC card bios, it can use more than 400w but very low frequencies, I think only FE bios is the way to go as the other poster said
