man corsair is good 2666 oc to 3800 mhz stable. they use sk hynix chips been using 3 years now 1.37 v max the corsair rgb pro sticks are hand selected and tested great oc potential only thing better imo is gskill trident z but pony up some$$$$

I just want to get some ram that runs at 3200mts consistently without causing YouTube to crash. I'm getting sick of pc's due to how they effect my mental health.

Any RAM specced at 3200 will do that, so most likely you've simply been unlucky and your set has been, or become, faulty. These things happen regardless of brand and say nothing about general reliability. Corsair is buying the same chips that G.skill is buying and both have been assembling RAM sticks for a long time.

If I were you I'd first try XMP again with just one stick, first one, then the other. It would be very unusual for both sticks to be bad or go bad, so you might find that one of them is working as it should. If so, then you know for sure that it is in fact the RAM that is faulty and not something else.

It's been weeks maybe months since my build BSOD'ed. It has been very stable. No matter how many stress tests you do it is so hard to track down that last little bit of instability.

rebar should be working on your rig, try and get that sorted out sooner rather than later. maybe a bios reset, reboot, don't forget to turn xmp back on

rebar should be working on your rig, try and get that sorted out sooner rather than later. maybe a bios reset, reboot, don't forget to turn xmp back on

Yeah it works now, I just had CSM on but no more.

I never saw that because of RAM. The same type of thing happened to me when OC'ing my Ryzen 5 5600X core(s) to at least 4.8 GHz with CTR, making me believe my Ryzen 5 5600X cores are a dud.
It seemed super snappy, then boom, an access-violation report. That usually means CPU core instability. Saw that access-violation report browser page, when I was just scrolling on a YouTube page, IIRC.

In your case, replace that motherboard, ASAP! It possibly can't even handle a Ryzen 7 5700X! It's possibly classic unstable-AMD-core symptoms.

I've had this mobo since 2021 and said to the Mrs "I won't need to change anything now for 3 years" in December last year when I got my 5700X and 6900XT, so that's going to go down like a pint of cold sick.
I can oc the CPU to the point where it's stable for cinebench and 3Dmark, but then play Project Cars 2 and within 20 minutes freeze, funny noises and reset. I tried less boost than 4850 too and still same result. So I've now got 6900XT on -10% power and cpu stock, just to save my walls.

What mobo would you recommend, out of curiosity? I have a small list of things I want that's just growing and growing...

Crosshair is good for connectivity, Strix is better for mem OC.. both are good. Miss my XE.. I should see if they will fix it. I broke it I am fairly sure..

Yeah, rare for ram to die on me as well, though i remember one dying on me but that was the DDR2 days, if anything it's the motherboard and not the ram. Maybe it's possible that the cause is i oc from 3600 to 3733mhz with added .1voltage i think for around 2 years if it's life? I dunno.
Also, that g.skill pic you posted is the exact ones im using, but i remember seeing it on a tool that says it's dual rank?

That's the problem with RAM kits, they change revisions to something entirely different and it fucks with everyone.
Thats why corsairs LPX ram had all those issues with ryzen early on, as most of them were dual rank and you could buy 10 kits and get 6 different NAND types

Exactly that bsod error. But after that, I can't boot properly anymore, boot throwing missing boot files error requiring windows repair etc. Then i tested only 1 ram stick at a time, and the other one is the one constantly getting boot error and fails memtest while the other is good, passes memtest and boots up properly.
Got new sets of ram sticks and is all ok now.

I've seen this on a few stock PC's lately, you get stuck pointed at an SRTTrail.txt file that has no actual error in it

You can disable the recovery boot thing and it works sometimes, others the OS is just dead - I think it was a faulty windows update as i've had my brother hit twice, one client hit once, and one of my spare machines once. All had the same end result, and almost nothing in common between them. (Spaced out over 6 months)

B-die is only worth it if you're actively cooling the RAM and chasing low latency, it's not the right choice for Zen.

These days every RAM manuf can hit 3600 easily at low voltages on cheap kits, and you're better off with more ranks since you get a larger performance boost from that - 4x cheap SR sticks on XMP is going to beat two tuned B-die sticks

My brother had that issue as well, and i had a similar one.

his 5900x was crashing and causing issues randomly, and i reminded him that he was lazy and used ryzen masters automated tool and it's not reliable - decreased the curve undervolts by 2 on each core and he hasnt crashed since.

My 5800x3D has a static undervolt of -30 and a (I think these were the values) -0.6125v UV and it started crashing in winter, changed it to -0.5725v and its rock solid again. Yay for capacitor weirdness based on ambient temps?
