Surprising results given the high resolution and lower gpu frame rate, I'm perplexed why the gpu bound % is so low. Raytracing?

I've only done the first event don't have a ton of time to game these days lol. I like the way it feels and the new audio is pretty impressive. Visually it's a racing game they almost always look good. Digital Foundry did a video and they were getting frequent stutter on a 12900K I did not notice that at all on my end.

Both of those are excellent it's definitely been the better series of the two over the last couple games.

Nope and nope... HDR is off everywhere I look; I run 3440x1440 @ 144hz over DP and no subsampling loss. Also, I'm on AMD, not NV.

I can't give advice for hardware I don't have - hence the disclaimer of things i know affect one brand, but not both.

After that, they optimized some more. Then they made sure the whole thing feels like a movie, with level design torn from the pages of a best-selling novel.

And after that, they optimized some more. Cuz this thing holds steady frames, like Meryl Streep holds Oscar nominations

I have both too, I prefer 5 (Mexico) instead of the often driving in depressing cloudy/winter UK....

They are both good though.

Really enjoying Forza Horizon 4 on GamePass. It runs locked well above 60FPS at 4K with everything turned up and is good dumb fun. I will freely admit to turning the AI difficulty down - while I'm a somewhat experienced driver IRL with a few track days and SOLO 2 competitions behind me I've always been terrible at driving in games. Guess it's just the lack of physical feedback.

4k 60 FPS all set to high with FRS Quality. It can do no FSR and then you are in native res with all the details. On a big TV the corners will be blurred because of the FSR, so less details in the background....but your eyes don't look there, you are always focused on the action in the middle.
Dude 4k 60.....on a TV this game looks amazing.

And I am a heterosexual man, but this just might be the most handsome male character in gaming history. He's gorgeous!

Completely the opposite here. The areas of Mexico portrayed in FH5 are about the most depressingly unappealing landscape on Earth to me. The UK areas of FH4 are much more inviting and eye-catching.

This should should not be missed. Just throwing it out there.

One of the best examples of what I'm talking about and a fun romp to boot!
(Hint, this is Alex's 2nd best Survive the Hunt ever!)

My opinion of FH5 is biased towards full map Eliminator multiplayer bouts (biased by massive amounts of cheaters). However, last few times I opened up FH4 there were three opponents compared to 40-50+ any time of day or week in FH5. Eliminator is literally all I play. When everyone has moved onto the next big thing the entire rest of the game will still be there to enjoy. FH4 I actually raced and did a lot more in.

Back to playing COTW in order to brush up my skills a bit for new DLC/update on the 10th.

3.5 dry bleached seasons with only water features impacted and .5 a season that very sporadically has very short lived dust storms in a very small portion of the map.
