Microsoft is a publicly traded company, they report earnings in the form of SEC filings. Feel free to look it up yourself which you should do anyhow if you really care. You don't even need to search the SEC EDGAR database, you can just look MSFT fundamentals on Yahoo Finance, just like you could have twenty years ago.It seems it will be reduced by 10bil, they are appealing which could take several years, also found this-Since 2004, we have paid over $67 billion in taxes to the U.S., jeez if they have paid that much in taxes, how much must they have made.
It's worth pointing out that the $67 billion in taxes is a cumulative sum over nearly two decades, so maybe $3.5B annually (averaged without inflation).
I am willing to wager a buffalo nickel that Microsoft is in a lower tax bracket (percentage wise) than pretty much everyone participating in the TPU Q&A forum.
