As we're about to enter the month of November, October leaves us with a couple of final game releases. This week's AA release is a sequel to a puzzle game that was quite popular when it launched at the end of 2014. The remaining titles this coming week includes RPGs, something musical, something to do with leagues and legends, a cop that's a robot and some seasons greetings.

The Talos Principle 2 / This week's AA title / Thursday 2 November
Born into a new world where biological humanity is extinct but human culture lives on in a city of robots, you find yourself swept up in a mind-bending adventure involving a mysterious megastructure hiding enormous powers. The more you discover, the more you will be confronted with questions about the nature of the cosmos and the purpose of civilization. The broken promise of a better tomorrow, the fear of repeating humankind's mistakes, faith in reason or renouncing humanity altogether - the choices you make and the sides you take will determine the course of events.

Remore: Infested Kingdom / Monday 30 October
A challenging turn-based tactical RPG that transports you into a medieval apocalyptic infestation. Your survivors are fragile, and every step you take could be your last.

Headbangers: Rhythm Royale / Tuesday 31 October
Headbangers is a light-hearted, Rhythm Battle Royale Game where you and 29 other Pigeons compete against each other, all to complete your quest of claiming the title of Master Headbanger!

Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story / Wednesday 1 November
Join best friends Nunu and Willump on an adventure across the frozen wilds of the Freljord. Discover the unbreakable bond between boy and yeti as you traverse a land both beautiful and treacherous, making new allies (and enemies) on a journey of family, friendship, and magic.

RoboCop: Rogue City / Thursday 2 November
Become the iconic part man, part machine, all cop hero and bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit. With your powerful Auto-9 or one of the other 20 weapons available, eradicate criminals throughout an explosive first-person adventure.

Ebenezer and the Invisible World / Friday 3 November
Embark on a story-rich 2D Metroidvania adventure with breathtaking hand-drawn art, playing as miser-turned-hero Ebenezer Scrooge in a reimagined Victorian-fantasy based on Charles Dickens' classic novel, A Christmas Carol. Enlist the help of ghosts to save the people of London before it's too late.

I was never a fan of the RoboCop movies, but this game looks good! They're doing Steam and Epic. Hopefully they'll do GOG as well!

Jusant deserves a spot on this list, I think. It's a climbing adventure game made by Dontnod. It's made with UE5, but it actually runs pretty well. I know several people looking forward to Star Ocean: The Second Story R too.

Talos Principle 2 is the first game I ever preordered. The demo was very promising and TP1 was a piece of art.

Yes, the film wasn't great, but I have a fond memory of it.

I always liked the premise, even if the execution thereof was not particularly wonderful.

I absolutely loved the first Robocop movie... like you said, the rest were rubbish.

Is the The Talos Principle 2 apart of the Portal games?

Robocop was one of my favorite movies from the 80's. The first and second movie was god, but forget the third movie. That is just a massive disappointment. The movie from 2014 is alright, but deffently not on the same level as the two first movies, but better than third of the old movies.

So maybe i should give this new game a chance. Will wait for reviews and performance test before buying. As said before to many games releases unfinished and i will not support such stupid moves.

People miss the point of Robocop. It was a satire from Paul Verhoeven regarding elements of 80's America. It was an excellent film when viewed for what it was (much like Strarship Troopers). The irony is, a game created to make money from the original premise plays into the narrative Vernhoeven was trying to communicate.

I might buy it when it's super cheap, but the one I'll definitely have a pop at is the Talos Principle sequel. Loved the first one. It was properly challenging to my ape brain, but also deeply touching.

Ooo Talos Principle 2 is finally coming. I thought the first one was an excellent game, though sadly I think I never actually finished it. If it reviews ok I'll definitely get this one at some point, though I still wanna play nothing but Baldur's Gate 3 & Mario Wonder at the moment!

The RoboCop game actually reminded me of a platformer I played in the 90s - James Pond 2: RoboCod. I loved that game.

I played the first Talos game in VR and got lost. Didn't know where to go or what to do. Played demo of Talos 2 this month. Seems like more of the same, with better graphics.

James Pond was great! The animation was so compelling, he was one suave fish!

That's all fans of the first one want! But I guess you'd hope for some quality of life improvements given how long it's been.

First robocop movie was awesome.

And if companies had the ability to rebuild you and make you work, they would.

Robocop (1987) also didn't age very well. Terminator (1987) on the other hand ... The only stand out element in Robocop are the jaw dropping gore effects.

I don't know about about Terminator aging well. Great movie, love the atmosphere and a lot of the effects are done well, but two things really stand out - the terminator doll when he performs eye surgery on himself looks abysmal, and the terminator skeleton walking animation is horrendous (but it looks amazing when you can only see the crawling torso).

I watched the RoboCop 4K remaster last year and I really enjoyed it, but it has some off-putting moments as well, the animation of the combat robot being one of them. I guess it's just how the stop motion technique looks like.

I'll also mention Alien. Almost everything in that movie looks fantastic, except for the Alien itself, which looks just like a human in a suit, which is what it is.

After playing the demo of Robocop, and having flashbacks of retro arcade <insert coin to proceed!> gameplay, I will pick The Talos Principle 2. Talos 1 was difficult at times..
I'll wait till Robocop is in the 'less-than-5-euro' sale. has been reviewed.
