I don't know, GPU blocks have always been notoriously expensive. Unlike CPU blocks you need to make a new one for every card and on top of that you may need different blocks for different AIBs, so they're very low volume products, it's inevitable that they cost a lot.

I remember when the most expensive blocks would be $129. Byiski were great as most of their blocks were no more than $99 and even EK blocks were no more than $149. Phanteks has been special because their stuff was usually cheaper by some measure though they are limited in variety. Since EK in some cases doubled the cost of their blocks all of them seem to be following suit.

Alphacool Aurora seems affordable at 160 and actually wins this time around at 200 new terminal same block overall. Bykski Granzon aims to be the most expensive. lol

I like Phanteks products, they all look beautiful.
This one including.
I actually planned to get a 4090 to make full water loop.
But with shortages and everything, I will probably do it with rtx5000

Granzon is Bykski's premium brand, and their prices are right there with EK.
For the same price, Ek is a clear winner.
Last timed I checked Byksky prices, you could get a gpu block with active backplate, it was about the same price as a single EK gpu block without any backplates.
That is a choice, an ordinary byksky block with a very exciting cooling or a single side EK block. For overclocking, double byksky seem like an easy winner.
