And I installed it today.

Hello

I have an x370 K7 motherboard and R5950x bios version [F51h]. There are versions [F51i] AGESA V2 1.2.0.8 and [F51m] AGESA V2 1.2.0.B. Is there any improvement in performance, e.g. lower CPU temperatures, better boost management, better RAM memory performance? Are they just patching loopholes?

Is this the TPM attestation issue?
on Zen 3 Windows claims that TPM 2.0 is existing but not verified? (attested?)
it "seems" to work since tpm.msc says it's ready and functional but this issue does not exist on Zen 2, Zen 4 and mobile like my mendocino Zen 2 chip.

Apparently it is available for my Asus X570 Dark Hero as well. I am not really in any rush since I am on the 1.2.0.A bios anyway. But it is downloaded now, so, soon(tm)

Same goes for the MSi B550 Mortar Max in the other pc. MSi was half a month ahead of Asus with this release apparently

Truly.

My board got it on October 26th, though. Definitely not "a month ago", sadly lmao

Code:
ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II BIOS 3404
Versión 3404
16.39 MB 2023/10/26

"1. Update AGESA version to ComboV2PI 1.2.0.B
2. Update AMD 5000/3000 Series CPU fTPM version, please back up Bitlocker recovery key before updating this version BIOS

Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (R550FGW2.CAP) using BIOSRenamer."

Looked around and reports of ComboV2PI 1.2.0.B go all the way back to September.

Fixes: https://www.amd.com/en/resources/product-security/bulletin/amd-sb-7005.html
Can you type in windows tpm.msc and tell me the version of ftpm?

I just took the update, and TPM has defaulted to the discrete chip rather than the CPU. Interesting.. I also got the new boot logo, but my Strix -F has had it for months.. weird.

I finally installed it today Asrock x570 Taichi UEFI/BIOS version P5.50

I'm noticing some improvements in benchmarking.
My single thread score is a bit higher than usual.
Also CBR20 scores a bit higher too.

( edit: 1 reboot later )

Not sure what happened but CPUz and ZenTimings are working ok now.

( edit: 2 found the cause )

The issues were caused by installing the latest ryzen master without rebooting.

I noticed no difference either. If anything my CB23 score is a ~bit~ lower.

Also you can save your user profile to a USB stick and re-apply it after a BIOS update.

That... kind of defeats the purpose of the feature. Pretty hilarious.

Can anyone check CO values on Combo V2 PI 1.2.0.B? I've noticed that my CO value of -8 isn't the same as the -8 of the previous AGESA version. Guess that's to be expected, but now I need closer to -14 to get the same voltage.

'tis on a 5700X.
