Yeah, I think I'm keeping this monitor. Unusable FreeSync sucks, but nearly everything else about this monitor is better than my old one.

its probably you just have a better VA panel. i only saw 2 in my entire life, so my experience is limited.

I love the deep black levels that VA has and honestly, I don't have any issues with the smearing on dark objects. I'll take that over IPS glow.

I have a 4K Dell Ultrasharp from 2018 (thrift store find) with an IPS panel, and its black levels are absolutely atrocious.

The S3422DWG handles dark objects much better (noticeably less smearing than my old monitor) and overall seems to be a much higher quality monitor.

I think black levels on my IPS are really nice, just depends on the quality of the manufacturer honestly.

Definitely.

My Zephyrus G14's IPS screen (no FALD) has decent black levels. Not as good as VA, but definitely better than the 4K Dell.

Worth there weight in gold...

I had snagged a set of these on my last Amazon order and they've got quadruple ball bearings per wheel and feel like smaller diameter roller blade wheels in quality. They work great on carpet and are safe on hardwood at the same time while being some level of quiet I won't refute that is plenty sufficiently quiet thus they pass the test their certified amazing balls and have the balls of steel to back that *** up. If I would've had these 20 years ago I don' even know how much time savings I'd have cultivated cumulatively over that period of fighting the chair wheels, but more than enough to pay for a set of these wheels easily. Compute smarter not harder. In my next lifetime I'll be getting these wheels 20 years sooner.

On my board (Asus ProArt X670e) i have 2 PCIe 4.0x4 and two PCIe 5.0x4 slots available. I can combine them with an onboard Raid Controller. I will also buy 2 PCIe 5.0 drives to have all of them on Raid. By speed the PCIe 5.0x4 will be really interesting.

My board has room for 4 5.0 drives. I too am very interested in RAID 0 on 5.0 drives.
