This is very simple. Default towards the most complete edition where more than one exists.
Meaning as delivered with DLC and all other packs, which Assassin's Creed game is overall the best to play through.
There are simply too many options to conduct a formal poll.
After purchasing AC: Origins I've started to delve into what (if any) game in this series would be enjoyable to pursue next. Since this one was unlikely to figure in any conversation I'm openly mentioning it as an outsider option that caught my eye. The only AC to arrive on the PlayStation Vita, Assassin's Creed Liberation.
