If case airflow is good then you shouldn’t face any thermal issues up to at least 1.45V DRAM voltage.

For starters:
16-18-18-18-36-54 (first 6 of ZenTimings)
tRFC: tRC x 6 + 8 = 332

If you want try straight
16-16-16-16-34-50 (first 6 of ZenTimings)
tRFC: tRC x 6 + 8 = 308
or
tRFC: tRC x 5 + 8 = 258

oh did try that anything below 19 for trcd will give me error almost instantly for some reason with these stick at this frequency even at 1.5 v, as i said earlier its samsung b-die but not the pcpb variant, it is bcrc one, i suspect i cant tighten the timing as much on this one

is it something to do with amd high voltage?
What do you mean by that? (honest question)

You can try tRFC 248 (60x4+8)
or
tRC: 58
tRFC: 298 or 240

I dont have a clue why tRCDs, tRP cant play below 19.

Another question
Do you have Rtt (Nom, Wr, Park) on auto or these are manual settings? I think 99% of 4 stick configurations have those at RZQ 7/3/1 respectively.

I gave up on ram overclocking, it will be stable for a full week then give me random errors. I find it's best just to use XMP since my mobo supports my ram QVL - and just be happy I have anything at all

i did put rzq at 7 3 1 , still cant lower trcds without errors, like i said on taiphoon burner my ram is stated at b-die but its bcrc one, most user with good overclock have b-die but the pcpb one, i havent seen much data on the bcrc variant of b-die to be honest

I see
Mine is BCPB but I dont have a clue of it either. PCB revision is A0.

It means Micron's B-dies wasnt tested in that speed so the calculator doesn't have the appropriate profile for it.

I don't know where else to ask this, but I think the guy who made the dram calculator is also making one for rx 6800 xt gpu's, can anyone confirm if this is still being done? or am i remembering wrong @P4-630 I feel like I remember you posting something about this, but I can't find the post on it anymore.

hi guys very interesting topic here.

i just switched from R5 3600 to R7 5700X, i have 2x8gb flareX bdie kit 3200CL14 which was running at 3600CL16 on my previous R5 3600.

i would like to start with 3600CL16 as well on the 5700x as baseline, i was wondering if i should set same SOC, VDDP and VDDG CCD/IOD voltage on the 5700X ?
i was at 1.05V soc, 0.9 VDDP and 0.950 VDDG CCD/IOD.

thanks

Every CPU is different. Some need more, some need less voltage. The voltage should be about the same as the Ryzen 3000 series.

I have a 5900X with memory running at 3733CL16 (also b-die). The following voltages I am using:
VSOC 1.100V
CLDO VDDP 0.900V
VDDG CCD 0.950V
VDDG IOD 1.000V

Thanks for this, i first applied exact same setting as my R5 3600 ( 3600CL16 ) and i wasnt even able to post, so i set all timings on auto except first timing set at 16 16 16 16 32 and still no post, had to clear cmos each time.
turned on DOCP 1 profile and i posted 3600CL14 (but error in TM5) , pretty weird it can post 3600CL14 docp on but not 3600CL16 docp off, i believe DOCP profile help in some way but dunno how, so i turned back primary timing to 16 16 16 16 32 and TRFC to 288 for 3600mhz with DOCP 1 on, and passed the whole TM5 1usmus profile in 2hours, at least ive got a stable baseline, will work from here now.

This is the config I am currently using. Keep in mind RttNom, RttWr and RttPark should be different when only using two dimms. Zentimings shows a lower VSOC voltage while 1.1v is set in bios.

No need to change it. This should be fine for 2x single rank memory.

i managed to get 3800 16 16 16 16 32 48 TRFC 304 stable by setting only these timing and let others on auto, which are pretty lose tho like tfaw 40 or TWR 26.

as soon i try to tight TRRDS TRRDL and TFAW i get error in TM5 1usmus profile, i tried first trrds 4 trrdl 6-8 tfaw 16 and get error so tried 5 - 7 - 20 and still get error, last was error 0 at cycle 7.

based on the error sheet could be TRRD related or too low vdimm, so might try raise to 1.45 sticks run pretty cool ( 41°c at full load ) i was able to get trrds 4 trrdl 8 tfaw 16 at 3600mhz.

edit : noticed tcwl was lower than tcl on auto, might try set it to 16
