Working Bios for rx590gme(samsung) from China

I bought this card on Aliexpress and had a terrible time with it. replacing the subid, remade the bios from sapphire 580 8gb.
it works with GPU Device Id: 0x1002 0x6FDF 113-59G85SMF2-W80 C940 Polaris20 XTX A1 GDDR5 256Mx32 8GB 300e/400m

use amdvbflash 3.20 and command to flash: amdvbflash -p 0 Sapphire.RX580.8192.180719_ModID.rom -fp
use 1.5mm termo on chips

temperature now 75C havent microfreeze

I think you can use any stock bios from sapphire 580 and 580+ and 580 limited and special. they are all on polaris 20. you just need to change the subaid to 0x9586 using Polaris Bios Editor 1.4
it's all just overclocked Polaris 20. CCC Overdrive Limits GPU Clock: 2000 MHz Memory Clock: 2250 MHz. The main thing is to carefully look at which chip is Samsung or Hynix. Samsung FC or FB seems to be just a batch number. But Polaris XTX 1400. Polaris XTR 1500 may be max. I think china use Polaris 20 XTX for cheap

But keep in mind that those codes from Samsung chips aren't batch numbers.
On the contrary, they are very important, because of those numbers you MUST choose the exact BIOS file that matches the exact code from a Samsung chip : FB or FC or FE

The card has FB and FC. The memory chip could be "painted" and relabeld since its a chinese card. See https://videocardz.com/newz/gamers-...-painting-gpu-memory-to-make-them-look-as-new

It turns out this is a chip https://sysrqmts.com/ru/gpus/compare/amd-radeon-rx-580-vs-amd-radeon-rx-590-gme XTR and theoretically I can install the BIOS here https://www. techpowerup.com/vgabios/191263/sapphire-rx580-8192-170320-1 replacing Subid.

I serviced my card. put new thermal pads on 8 and new thermal paste MX-2. what was at hand.

Ok Subid on second bios 0xB31 not 0x9586. I change it on 0xB31 and flash "amdvbflash -p 0 Sapphire.RX580.8192.170320_1_ModID.rom -fp" ver 3.20

Reboot and now it defined as nitro + in aida . It works and is even stable, but the fans are noisy, apparently they also need to be changed. does not hold stable at 1450. throttling starts from 79 degrees to 1380-1429 and fan speed is 131%. but up to 76 it stays stable at 1450

Ok. Now that you have a fully working card, i would advice you to not use anymore Furmark.
I prefer more usual testes like Heaven.
No need to stress the card, i would rather test it in many games for let's say a week or so.
After that time we can declare it a winner.

Aloha hawaii! I get my new combo pack (motherboard+32gbram+2680v4) two week ago. Videocard work perfect today without problem and artefact. The Last Of Us1 Remake and Resident Evil 4 Remake work perfect on recommended gra-options - 45-60fps. After update ram to 32gb microfreeze off. Cpu load 17-20%. Best Regards!
