CPU temperature at 100 degrees in BIOS

It seemed my initial advice fixed it, but the bios flash has reset the settings. Maybe the pump is working but needs the header setting at 100% instead of a probable silent curve.
I don't know why in CPU_FAN there's nothing if it's connected as it should be.

It says N/A because it's not detecting. Just get a new cooler at this point. Something of quality

But it's strange because after moving the cables as the other person told me, it worked perfectly but now when the BIOS is updated and everything there is is deleted, it no longer detects it and I don't know what to do.

That can happen if the bios isn't correctly configured and no power is being delivered to the pump/fan.

You are looking at the wrong location in the bios to configure the fan's. When entering the bios press F6 to enter "Smart Fan 6".

Then make the following changes in Smart Fan. Dont forget to save the bios setting changes (ESC then F10).

The pump uses a 4pin which should be connected to a fan header.
Obligation to mention here is that you should connect the pump to the W_PUMP fan header (if it is available). It has a higher wattage rating, specifically meant for connecting to a watercooling pump.

On my motherboard the CPU fan header is 12V 1A (i.e. 12W) and the W_PUMP header is 12V 3A (36W).

So I don't know what to do if that's the problem.

Ok, I have already done that but now the fans run fast but the CPU_FAN still does not detect and the temperature is still at 100º.

I have looked to see if it had a W_PUMP slot to connect it but when I looked at my motherboard's manual I couldn't find it.

If you changed it for the pump, then the fans shouldn't be running any faster. On which header is the pump connected?
Can you make a new picture of the current situation how it is currenty connected?

The cable coming from the pump which in on the CPU, should be connected to CPU_FAN as on the pic. Then make the changes VuurVOS showed on his pic.

Sorry but i have to say it, i know Spanish brands... some brands are way below standarts...
This board doesn't have a Pump header. You either have a Pump failure or the Pump cooler/CPU Fan header don't like each other.
Have you tried switching the CPU_Fan header to Voltage instead of PWM
1702849951708.png

Of course that something is really wrong in that build, they sold you an incompatible CPU cooler in the 1rst place... get rid of old stock "move", my suspicion of contact on top of the LGA package still valid.

Maybe just running the pump off the PSU would work then.

I don't know, but the website where I bought the PC is one of the most famous and loved in Spain, even its main warehouse is in my city. They have a system on their website in which you put the components you want on your PC and it tells you if everything is compatible or not with an explanation. When I bought the PC it seemed to me that everything was compatible.

That seems to be fine how it is currently connected. You stated earlier you didnt hear any noises from the pump?
Like a couple here already said, you have likely a pump failure.

If you have a spare fan, connect it to the cpu header, does it spin? does it detect it in the bios? If yes to both then the pump must have failed.

That could be it but I don't understand how it happened if it's only been 4 months since I bought the PC. I also don't know why it worked before when I changed the cables and the pump did start working as it should.

When I get home I'll try it and tell you.

People, thanks for the help and advice but I have finally managed to contact the company and send them the PC so they can change the cooling because it is under warranty. Only i need to wait between 7-13 days.

Hearing a lot of noise from the aio pump when cranking it could have made it spin up one more time, but it may have been loud because there's a lot of air in it, which would cause early failure.

Also, a comment more for others on this thread than OP, you can get more power from most fan headers (several are 12v, 2A) than USB (USB 2 headers that most aios plug into are 5V, 0.5A max), so I really don't get why people are saying no good ones use fan headers lol. The USB is often more for the use of individual software controls (for screens, rgb, etc. lol), not for sending power to the pump.

Hi,
Yeah ask assembler to install a nice air cooler
Generally r.m.a. returned devices don't require the original box
They just require returned packing to be as good as original was so it's not damaged in shipping.

I have not been able to change anything, they have told me that they are going to exchange it for the same one or a similar one.

For real? My entire aio runs off one four pin. The two fans (that go up to 3000rpm), the vrm fan, and the pump. Was always surprised it could do so much from one connection. It was certainly easy to set up anyway....
