Msi b550m pro whfi and 5 2600x Flash bios

I know the cpu 5 2600x is not suported on the MSI B550 PRO WHFI . VDH .Is it possible to flash a bios so that it can work on the board?I see on other forums people have managed to do it.

The latest bios has micro code for a 2x00 CPU but that is no garantee it will work.

This is the answer Mike gave me ,his videos are good ome of my fave uk ones.
It should do most b550 boards will accept 2600 2700 etc
I just saw this old video of his and he has got it wrong it want work on the board.

If you have a 2600X and a B550 and it doesnt boot, you can do two thing:

• Sell 2600X and buy a 3x00 or newer series processor
• Return/sell B550 and buy a B450/X470 motherboard instead

It was just a idea after seeing his review of the 550 moterboard.I allready have a 450 motherboard and thought i would try a better motherboard.As i thought because it was a am4 four socket you could use any cpu.With the Flashback thing.
