Being able to boost Cinebench performance by 61% by using ThrottleStop 9.6 is impressive.

What were your TPL settings? Post a screenshot if you still have this device.

Some users are only interested in maximum performance. A good pair of noise canceling headphones will help take care of the louder fan noise.

Basically I just set the TDP limit to the boost limit and boom max performance. Wish there was an ability to control the fan because a custom fan curve would really let this little box shine.

This, yes. It's also lacking a good selection of USB ports on the back. If a micro system like this doesn't have at least 6 USB ports, it's not worthy of consideration.
Yes and no, since the unit offers 3x display outs without using the Type-C port I feel it works out here. a Type-C to Type-A etc hub is $10 now for 3-4 more ports. Bringing the total USB 3 Type-A ports to 6-7. Likely if they abandoned the extra LAN port you could squeeze in 2 more USB ports in the back. Either way the first option isn't as good as having proper ports / second option removes a useful feature. But that's the trade-off going this small an extra half-inch would make all the difference.

Those are fair points. However ECS is trying to market this device to a broad audience and most people would prefer to plug in their KB&M to the back of the unit, not the front, to say nothing of printers or other items that will be plugged in and never or rarely removed. You're right though, the half inch/14mm would make a difference, depending on use. I think they might have rotated the cooling and vents 90degrees after which the room for extra ports present and easily added in.
