eh... it was an impulse buy, after seeing a lot of Ad from website ending in .ch (Switzerland) selling them for "AWESOME LIMITED OFFER HEAVY DISCOUNT JUST FOR YA!" at 59.90chf instead of 89.90chf ... with 1 paper roll and sell the 3x white paper roll recharge at "WOOHOO!!! MORE AWESOME DISCOUNT!!!!!" of 19.90chf instead of 29.90chf

well that's just a regular pocket thermal printer but it works perfectly the DPI is enough for pictures and it can also act as a printer for receipt ...

will definitely order some sticker roll to make labels also :laugh:

edit: and yes, it's USB-C (for charging )

yeah i know .... the skyrim print is a bit LoFi ... i guess any kind of antialiasing was too taxing .... :laugh:

I have a Windows DVD - all of my computers have blu-ray players

I believe in physical media for all of my movies, TV shows, and music.

AFA the nic, I was overcharged - another seller had them for $1.97. We'll see how it goes once everything else gets here.

Professionally optical drives are not dead at all. That's a dream. There are branches that rely on DVD/BluRay and will do it also in the next years. Every branch that needs to store data by law will use'em for years.

BTW: A couple of weeks afo i bought SSD Watercooling-Blocks from Alphacool. They are cheapest China-Crap.Wasted money. The cooling plate is held by 4 screws. those should be flat mounted. But they aren't. They are at least 0,7mm higher that the surrounding cooling plate. If one want's to close the gap by a themal pad he will have to apply at least 1,5mm high ones. At the original board cooler there are 1mm high ones applied. So the Waterblock by Alphacool transports less heat than the original Asus ProArt cooler.

also received the SN850X but not the Graugear dock, nonetheless i think i will put it in place of the Gammix S11 1tb (swapping the P3 Plus so the SN850X is in a Gen4 slot and the P3 Plus in the Gen3)
funny in reading speed, the 980 Pro is 7000 the SN850X is 7300 and the Legend 960 is 7400 ... i basically will be "gifting" the fastest one with the next build? :laugh:

Working on a dash replacement, so bought a Pi4B, 7" screen, and a NAS case with an M.2 USB card (not pictured in the video). This is a stop-gap for someone else's vehicle. I'll be working on a light weight Linux install next to drive a different app directly without Android.

All my Yubikeys are black, so I don't know which is the primary key and which the backups; Yubico sell skins for $5 each plus postage, so instead I managed to get a cricut sampler pack of vinyl self adhestive sheets and made skins from them as well as using colored lanyards.
