Hello all, a question for those that own any of LG Oled TV.
So I have had my LG C1 65inch since May 2022 when I moved out of my parents.
The TV has been rock solid in the near 2 years of ownership up until recently where it has started developing odd behaviour.
The TV is out of LG warranty but I've already sent a repair request enquiry on one of the behavuour but I thought I'll ask here if you have experienced this.
The first odd behaviour is whenever the TV asks to perform it's 5 minutes pixel clean, I have always allowed it in the 2 years, but recently it has been cropping up constantly and the only way I managed to make it stop for long duration is by performing a 1 hour pixel cleaning process.
The second odd behaviour is that again, in my 2 years of ownership and to save "electricity", I have always turned the TV off from the wall socket when it's not in use. So the procedure is standby mode -> flip the power switch off from wall socket.
The TV is plugged directly to the wall so there shouldn't be any power issue.
Anyway after nearly 2 years, the tv seem to start taking longer to power on after turning it on from the wall?
Once it on,I can happily put it in standby mode and back on with no issues.
The third odd behaviour is if I put the tv in standby mode with the soundbar still "on", the tv would turn itself back on as it is detecting a signal to the hdmi port(soundbar connected via hdmi using eARC). It has never done it before and it's only started doing it now.
So..for the TPU folks that own LG OLED TV, have you experience any of these odd behaviour?
