Arc OC'ing, anyone?

I was able to find a sweet spot at 2.55 GHz with my Sparkle Titan Arc A770 16 GB.

2.4 GHz is stock.

Arc Control have limited options regarding Performance Tuning, only GPU Boost (it's a percentage of clock increase), Voltage compensation (only allows positive offset) and power and temp limits.
MSI Afterburner isn't compatible with Intel ARC, it's possible to use Arctic Control, but regarding voltage, you can only set a fixed value.

There's a gal over at hardforum that's been ocing the crap out of her 770 for a couple of months now. She's nearly broken 3.0 with it but I can't remember what methods she's using (volt mods etc). If I can find the thread I'll link it for you.

Sadly, I don't even know if 2.6 is possible with mine. Already saw driver timeouts. The only thing good, was that it didn't make the entire PC crash during my last experiments.
Once again, Superposition 1080p Extreme is very good at finding core instability.

Also, 2.61 GHz had a lower score than 2.55 GHz.

Looks like the "GPU Core Power Limit" could actually be TBP! That seems to explain why I got the best Superposition 1080p Extreme benches with the power slider dragged all the way to the max!

i just put my boost to 40 and power to 200w and got 2575 for fun so i think that's the going rate with Arc control , now returned to 160w and 2400. some say if you use the Preditor bifrost app it will go more but i can't be bother to tell the truth im happy with 2400.

I'm going to test again with Cyberpunk 2077. One thing I noticed with my Arc A770 on the Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark:
I get less FPS, but it's smoother than with my RX 6750 XT! My RX 6750 XT seems micro-stuttery in comparison! At least true with 24.10.1. But I don't know if going to 24.12.1 would help or not.

A bit off-topic, but if you have time please try 23.12.1 with your 6750XT and see if it still feels stuttery in comparison.

I'm on this boat now, just installed an A750 sparkle factory OC white edition for a bargain price. Not going to be my primary gaming card but for other purposes in another rig. When I'm finally setup I'll post some OC results.
