Thank you a lot for hearing us and answering so fast.

Keep up the good work.
Circling back to your "key factors" from your wish list. What motherboard size did you have in mind? A 24 hot-swap bay 4U chassis with 3 x 120mm swappable fans in the middle and standard ATX motherboard (downsized from SSI-EEB support from our current RM43-320-RS chassis) would still require at least around 580mm of depth. This is with just one PSU support too. That <450mm depth is physically not possible!

Sorry for the wait, I did not realise the answer until I hit this thread from a TSX31 search in case the protoype was activated :D

I was asking for a JBOD 4U case, ideally with 20-24 hot-swap bays and 120mm fans. A case to upgrade only the storage part (no motherboard needed), as I already have a RM51 as a server case. Most of us don't have enough space (or wife permits) to accomodate a server rack with ~600mm depth at home, while all of us have a table on/under which we could install something at the ~400mm range.

Something like the AIC J4024 which sits at 385mm depth.

Taking your product line, it would consist of "tearing apart" the HDD cage from the RM43-320-RS, which looks great, adding a PSU to the back, a SAS controller and 2 x120mm fans, if possible, or only a grill, as the only items to cool would be the HDD with the 3x120mm fans, because the PSU would have the exhaust fan. You could make a USB JBOD or a SAS JBOD (preferred) just by changing the controller. That way the scalability would be high, as another JBOD case could be added for 20/24 HDD more, connected to the same server (your RM51, RM52... line)

Thanks for all.
