This is the Flatpak version of Vivaldi that I am using here. What I have noticed in my many tests is that Vivaldi's RPM packages can outperform the Flatpak package in (many) tests with a difference that is sometimes around 10%. If I were to select the fastest RPM distribution and also use the RPM package, it might be possible for me to score higher than the above result.

I also tested my realme C3 and the result really surprised me. It scores a result higher than 10 000.
Based on the result of my realme C3, I have to say that desktop systems that are 12 years old are still quite good for surfing. (compared to some recent budget smartphones)

With my latest result, I let the Intel 12600K score about as high as the Intel Core i5-14500 (14th generation) scores here:

I can score under 380 ms with certain software combinations that I haven't tested yet.

Chromium has gotten faster in this test on OpenBSD compared to what you can see if you look at my OpenBSD result above.
It currently only needs to be 10% faster to score comparable to (non-security oriented) Linux systems.

windows10/11 is similar to Linux in terms of JS performance, but as far as I know the networking performance of windows and windows server is much slower than Linux.
(Free)BSD used to have faster networking performance than Linux, which makes me suspect that BSD has much faster networking performance than windows.

I would be interested to see what results you get if you test real websites with windows and Ryzen R5 7600 (and specify the speed of your internet).
