Then I misunderstood the fan shape and rotation. Since it rotates clockwise, it looks like the fan "scoops" the air with the inner blade surface and pushes it down and right through the GPU cooler fins.
Thanks for the info
You're welcome. I have even taken the card out of storage and apply ~7V to the fan - it indeed spins to the right/clockwise, however the intake is underneath the fan and it then "throws" air out the transparent tunnel.

This is highly rated unit by me and others, if you want your ide drives wiped or get data off them :) And one touch back up.
I have been trying my ide cd drives on this and glad to say slot drive one us working :) A clasic film from the sixties :) Two don,t seem to be working ,Its a shame 2008 is not working :( Two out of four not working ,i have two more in cases. I wish the unit could test floppy drive units though :( I got four to test.

Does even safe mode work?
Nothing works now it keeps on saying there are no drives ib there when it is showing the drive is in there ,it does mention it is something to do with the bios. o_O I just wish i had not try to put 3dmark 2001 on there.:(

Does even safe mode work?
On the other board GA7VAXP REV 1.2
i have tried using different cables ,and setting the time date year .The drives CD first Hdd second. It shows on my Windows 11 PC as healthy as you can see. I have downloaded HDD SCAN. 02001 it is showing.I don,t seem to have a photo of it saying it can,t find a drive.Last resort with this HDD scan app.

I will download Western Digital
*Data Lifeguard Diagnostic*
I downloaded it says not available :( The only thing i can do now is try it on another Motherboard.

I am trying the drive in another motherboard it mentioned about Smart not detected o_O I have done all the usual stuff date CD first boot.It gets on to the last stage where it goes to red then says there is an Error .I guess i want be able to get a system on it.:( Nothing shows on. 2021 2022.It seems to be on the SSD i just hope it does not freeze as last time.It worked fine on the SSD.:)

I'm so happy now this PC is up and running. I find this old Altec Lansing 2.0 speaker that I forgot I have. Still sounds amazing. Playing the so-called hardest mission in GTA lol it's not that hard, just use WASD and directional buttons and you're ace.

You just made me realise I had them too. Totally forgot about them. Pretty sure they were the first ones I got with my first ever bought PC with a Pentium 4B 2.4ghz and GeForce 4.

Brings back some good memories : )

Futuremark has released full version keys for all its older legacy benchmark so you can run the full suite to your heart content. I knew about 3DMark2001SE games, its not hidden its there if you explored enough. Also boring old me even read the readme, its very technical showing memory usage and other things featured in each test.

I have no idea why it is crashing on my CF card instillation. o_O
i don,t know weather it is because it is the old version of Windows.I got this at the market today for £3 i got it with the two PSU,s they are the same power but different sizes but rated the same 19.5v 3.33a. 65w.i guess i can use either.
£3 pound was a bargain provided they all work of course.
If It works I will do the upgrade it will cost me £9 for the cable and the 4gb ram stick £12 all in it will be good value :) . Of course i was hoping it would be a higher end modal. It looks in good nick.:)Most of this modal don,t come with the PSU on eBay.

It is all working as i expected :)And used pretty recently January 2021.I have not tried the other PSU but i am sure it will work.:)Now to open it up .

Today i went to the bootfair it was a bit cloudy and very few stalls it started pouring down for about 5 minutes .And one seller was selling everything for £1 i got this really heavy Pc Sony VAIO PCV-RX1 and like that thin Client i bought yesterday seems to be one of the bottom lime ones.Reading the review of it.
The VAIO PCV-RX1 s use of a proper 3D graphics card rather than the LX1's integrated graphics. What hasn't changed is Sony's committment to stylish design -- the RX1 would not look out of place in your living room.
The VAIO PCV-RX1 is based around a 1.7GHz Pentium 4 and comes with 256MB of RDRAM as standard. Graphics are handled by an ASUS-branded 32MB nVidia GeForce2 MX card. None of this is leading-edge technology, but you're not paying a leading-edge price for this system. The benchmarks results are modest, but not out of line with what you'd expect: a Business Winstone 2001 score of 41.1 and Content Creation Winstone 2002 score of 25.2 aren't as high as our reference 2GHz Pentium 4 system, but they aren't supposed to be. The GeForce2 MX chipset is beginning to show its age, and the RX1's 3DMark 2001 score of 2,375 is less than half of the typical scores for more recent cards.
Heres some photos of it.I am worried about those worn away bits by the connections on the back .You can see it clearly on 2030 i don,t want it to catch fire. As to that i found 20p there.:)It weighs a ton:rockout: i had to get two buses and a ten minute walk when i got off the bus.o_OI turned it on and nothing :(Can i use a normal PSU with this?
More goodness from MikeTech.

It seems the SonyVaio,s are very desrible my one looks in very good nick :)apart from the coating gone away next to the ports on the back.and by the PSU. At least i did not break one of the plastic bits to get the top bit off. :)Should i take a chance on using that psu?o_OIt is dead:(Can i use a normal PSU with it?o_O

The psu is working but no life on the PC :(tested on the PSU tester.and is working .Lex or 68olds Keullo-e i don,t suppose i can take it out of the case and test the board there?o_OAs it is one of thouse proprioty boards.?o_O

Have you installed the chipset drivers?

New video from Phil:

I just put it on XP again ,the one you have to regester and it crashed at the same point. :(

Does any one know where the front panal conectors go?I can,t see any on there. o_O

just take out the connector that is already in there and use your 2pin power button or a screwdriver.
the pins are under the black connector with all the black\red cables in it

and observe where the sony power button cables are going in--should be easy you can do it

i use the same power button as u on my x99 sabertooth

Could you ring what i have to do on the board.I see the red and black ones they are taped in white a bit of tape going to the on.off button ,i don,t like the design it is a lot better having a button you just push in.If i had a diagram of the board it would make it easier. :( Can you show me yours on the sabertooth? Thanks:)
