Presenting the release of Fractal Mood, a PC case designed to streamline the gaming station. It is a low-volume case in a space-saving pillar design format, which minimizes the footprint of the PC on the desk. Its outer body features breathable fabric in a clean shape and color palette to harmonize with the home.

For access to the interior, users can pop out the back panel and simply slide off the fabric-covered enclosure for full access to their build. Inside, Mood can house a graphics card up to 325 mm in length, which is easily connected through the included PCIe 4.0 riser cable.

For effective cooling, Mood features a 180 mm Dynamic fan at the top which moves air up through the case. For more ambitious cooling builds, there is compatibility for radiators up to 280 mm or CPU air coolers up to 114 mm in height.

Really sweet case and a fine addition to sff market. But also really weird decision to not allow for gpu thickness adjustment. Although Optmum Tech did confirm a Zotac 4080S will just about fit.

Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one who didn't just fall out of a wormhole direct from the 1990's where we were literally weeping tears of joy when we replaced those bulky on the desk beige AT/ATX Desktop cases and CRT monitors with Towers and TFT's - and then maximising all that reclaimed desk space by... actually putting tower cases under the desk out of the way...

For me sff brings a new depth of skill and challenge with making the most powerful pc in the smallest space possible. And I feel that this whole sff culture started during the ps3/xbox one era when everyone became obsessed with "building something more powerful than a console but the same size". And I also credit Shuttle for innovating the small PC /barebone market way before it was cool.

Oh I get why people do SFF and have done one myself in the past on a Skylake Asus B150I motherboard + tiny Silverstone cube case + SFX PSU + Noctua L9i. It was tiny but as you said it was fun because that was part of the challenge. Back then though, ITX actually = SFF not todays "just in case everyone wants a 3-slot, 35cm long RTX 4090 + 3-fan radiator we must enlarge every ITX case until it's just reinventing MATX at double the price with the same poor ITX motherboard 'choice' of barely one single board per chipset per brand". So whilst the tiny cube era was great, I've long dumped "Small" Form Factor 'Refrigerator on your desktop' cases and just gone back to "no bigger in practice but gives you a sh*tload more usable desk space when you put it under the desk" MATX.

I really like this case's design & layout, but because my personal computing stuff doesn't require a mega-powered pc, I chose to ditch the mega-towers (last one was in a TT900 !) in favor of a mini-me box, which now sits under my main monitor on it's raised stand, so yea, talk to me about reclaiming desk space... :)

Nice looking case, if i were in the market it does seem to be one that should be in that list. Although i don't need a small PC as i use a HiFi rack for all my stuff and don't the possible limitations that come with it..

The cloth part might be a issue later.

Optimum Tech posted a review yesterday:
Not a fan of open top units, I expect my xbox series S if I was to open it probably has all sorts of dirt inside it due to its top exhaust. For whatever reason the area around my desk which has 3 consoles, PC, and networking equipment attracts a lot of dust and dirt in general, I only recently decided to buy a plastic cover for both the Series S and the shelf above it which also has dirt. crumbs of dirt etc. So I think unless I had this thing inside a sealed area I wouldnt use it.

Also the video explains about a 2 slot limit for GPUs and he then proceeds to use a triple slot RTX 4080 super with it.

Marketing doesn't present it like that, but it's a cleverly designed TV space case: two flexible colors; design timeless and fitting whatever internal decoration; quite much space for components when having dimensions especially convenient for TV surroundings.

This is the corsair one design, it's a really nice design, was waiting for when others would copy it.

virtually all itx have an open top these days, so no getting around that really.

His sound test had the top fan sitting at 0 rpm. That's not a proper review.
If you look closely at the curve, it’s impossible for the top fan to be at 0rpm while gaming. The test wasn’t at idle.

Sexiest 'modern styling' case I've seen.

Not looking to build ITX again, anytime soon... but, this kind of case would be at the top of my list, if I ever did.
