Hey guys I’m trying to get some help. My kids have 2 iPad Mini 4s that they’ve been using with no issues for awhile now. Batteries were replaced about 4 months ago. Welp recently after updating both to 15.8.2 they are no longer working. Both just constantly restart over and over. Anybody else having this issue ?

Finally got one to restore using 3uTools with iPadOS 15.8.2 and it went through and booted up. But as soon as I loaded some apps and tried to open one it started boot cycling again. I never had this issue with iPadOS 15.8 which since it's unsigned I can't downgrade to.

I would take it the store you had the batteries replaced at and tell them you think the new battery install is causing a boot loop, just my two cents.

Wouldn't that be crazy though. To cause an issue months later (4 months actually) only after an update

hmm... true.

damn man, that sucks. I have no idea.

maybe try a full factory reset (since you managed it once), but login with a new Apple account this time? maybe the account is glitched for some reason, I had that happen to me on Chrome OS once cause I was using the Canary build of Chrome OS.

then if the reboots happen on the new account, then you know its 100% hardware and eliminate that variable at least...

but yeah if that fails I guess only option is maybe call Apple customer service, if its a widespread software issue I am sure you aren't the only one experiencing it

I'll try that but this is my kids account linked under my main account. Since they are only 4 and 5. Something even weirder is now my daughters iPad is working fine and I never reset it or anything. But my sons is still going through the boot loop even though I restored it now 6 times. Even restored and selected not restore from backup thinking maybe something in the data was an issue but that didn't work. This is what I pulled from my sons tablet just now.
