hello, im no techie so i will try to explain the best i can - i like to mod my case to the simplest form... i dont need audio jacks nor usbs on the front of the case, because i use the ones at the back from mobo.
i unscrewed the switchboard out from the front panel and removed the extra audio jacks and usb ports - leaving me only with a circuit board holding the power button, the reset button and its Leds.
i would like to use a single white led PWR button (maybe it turns off PC, if held down more 3 sec) such as the one shown below, from AliExpress... my problem is the wirering part !? dont think i need original black ribbon cord because this button seems to have already the cord and welding done, with its mobo tiny connectors (power sw and pwr led +/- ) but i dont know about that 3~5V mentioned... if voltage is wrong, will it fry my mobo? --- PS: with my dremel, i will open a hole on my case panel, to screw on the new metal button.
