Well 99% of the people here aren't psychics but some of us break code for breakfast.
The answer is no. Do NOT the RX 5600 XT. It is next in line for the Chinese chopping block.
It suffers the same weird fate as every other RX 580 that blew out of the OE market.

A fool is parted from their money very quickly...

Buy a legitimate card, stay away from China based models.

Heres a list of cards with 12GB

Yes considering there is no guarantee a bios flash will restore it. People need to just stop playing craps with their money and just buy legit cards with a return warranty

From 2019 so 5 years old already and uses a proprietary bus called Apple MPX, which is not pcie.

You can do what you want but support to fix it will be very sparse and to replace that gpu if faulty will cost you more than a gpu on pcie from last year. You can't just stick any gpu in as it must support apple mpx.

Apple MPX and PCIE are not interchangeable or compatible with each other.

These 2 are the same outside of clockspeed and bus used

So if you decide to go down this path you won't be able to really get help for it .

-Signing off-

Honestly just walk away from these silly ideas

All 5600 XT cards from licensed board partners are 6 GB and all 5700 and 5700 XT cards are 8 GB. The exception is the 5500 XT which comes in both 4 and 8 GB variants.

But you should not buy an obsolete RDNA 1 card nowadays, even if you are going to use them in a Mac.

From a reputable site with a warranty of 30+ days, so there is proof that user can rma if faulty when outside of 30/specified return days

The only special, so-called "50th Anniversary Edition" 5700 XT had 8 GB, just like the standard model. There was no other special edition.

as i remember correctly it was 49th edition, besides, we are talking here about 5600 xt not 5700 xt...
There was no 49th edition of the 5700 XT, 5600 XT, or any other GPU. Feel free to look it up in the TechPowerUp GPU database.

Of course it doesn't contain all the fake junky homemade Chinese Frankenstein models that no sane person should ever put in a PC. If you mean one of them, good luck!
