I dont know why but although I set max fps in Adrenaline but some games ignore this setting. Is it suppose to have global effect on any game ?

Other frame limiters might overwrite this? What else are you running outside of the game?

No other fps limiter I had to set the fps limit inside the game itself. Other than gaming I just code

I have read for several years that FRTC is weirdly inconsistent in how it works. Sometimes it just doesn’t engage for no apparent reason. It also doesn’t have a per-game selection, it’s global only, for some reason. From what I understand, a lot of AMD users prefer to use Radeon Chill instead for frame-capping purposes.
I have no idea why AMD can’t just implement an RTSS-like capping functionality like NV did.

Did you apply this for global settings or program/game specific under the dropdown menu? (Clipping the screenshot isn’t always helpful). May also likely require restarting the game if adjusting via the overlay while in game.

Never had an issue with my 7900 XTX rig, or couldn’t find a game where it wasn’t enforcing the cap when it was up and running.

My guess is you set this in either the "default" or "custom" "global gaming experience" (at the top of the same screen as this setting), but the game you're playing is set to use a different one.

These are global settings there is no option to select specific game. you can access it from Gaming -> Graphics

No it is set to custom like the global ones . Game experience = use global experience (Custom)

Ah, the answer is right in this screenshot. The limiter doesn't work with fluid motion frames enabled, it says so right in the tooltip for frame rate target control.

I dont think so. FPS control say it has no effect on fluid motion . Other options when enabled I get warning message when this option enabled others will be disabled.
