The Alphacool Core 1 LT is a more affordable take on the successful Core 1 series of CPU water blocks. It ditches the metal tops in favor of acetal or acrylic, but retains the same cooling engine to give you chart-topping performance paired with cleaner aesthetics and/or better RGB lighting at a lower price.

Benchmark Scores It's a form of exhibitionism...;-), but fun in a way But showing off is triggering.............
I personally like the looks of the LT version better than the initial Core 1. And despite it being a LT version, the performance difference is actually neglectable.

Might consider to replace my Bykski block for a Core 1 LT in the near future  .

Another Winner here. I have had a Normal Core 1 and it was pretty good, this is pretty close to that. Price is pretty good too.

R.I.P. EK.
Yes, EK has a lot of undeserved popularity IMO....their blocks are neither the best performers or the best value and yet are very expensive so I'm not sure why they're so popular. My best guess is marketing, mainly that when someone goes on youtube, for example, 8 out of 10 watercooling build videos will use EK parts. Not only does this make for boring and repetitive builds, but creates an creates the perception that because EK is so popular, it must be the best.

With the core blocks available now, you'd have to be an EK nut to buy an EK block. These are not only cheaper, but perform better.

My honest take: alphacool is killing it now, these block’s are affordable and absolute beasts + they look cool. Now i’ve had a few of alphacool’s blocks (xpx aurora edge plexi…) and so on, and they have been preety easy to use and decent performers but ALLWAYS had nicks and scratches (preety damn bad qc) and have allways disappointed in that department. Hopefully these core blocks have a redemption arc while my used to be favorite slovenian (home country) company hopefully tries to get their shit together. And for the moment please…buy this block ✅
